In fact, can't wait to see what they look like in Skyrim. Anyway, I was wondering if someone can make a mod that replaces the current beast race models with models similar to the ones in Morrowind, but allow them to where helms and boots, which may also need new models. LHammonds Posted March 22, 2011 Share Posted March 22, 2011 The problem with that (and why Bethesda used the generic human body) is that every NPC shares the same skeleton structure and use the exact same equipment. The clothing does not have special holes in them to allow tails to poke through...they just clip through like a pin-on object. The helmets have an EGM that modifies the shape of the helmet to try and dynamically "fit" the players head but that is about all that was done. Changing the body to be hunched over while walking and changing the leg bones would require modifying the animations as well as all the armor and clothing...however, all NPCs share the same skeleton and clothing...so if you modify the steel boots to fit a Morrowind-like skeletal structure, it will be all messed up for all other NPCs.
