Geordge74
Hi there, a new face :)I've been loving Fallout since Fallout 3 and I've been browsing some of the mods for NV here.It made me wonder, would adding more Sim elements to the game be beneficial to immersion and game play? What I mean is, perhaps a way to build up and grow towns and factions. Also, build up relations with companions etc.One of the strong points for me was always the deserted wasteland and how people struggle to survive. Perhaps adding more 'Sim' kind of development would create a better atmosphere. For instance, you could create a settlement that would evolve over time. Helping npc's in a certain area would make them self sustaining and you could gain faction with them.An evolving world really. I think it might work but there is a fine line. It shouldn't be too 'Sim', on the other hand, a dynamic world would be very nice I think.
evilneko
Well if you want to build yourself a town.... there's actually a mod for that. Look up RTS or Real Time Settler, can't remember if it's listed under the full name or acronym. I think there's a NV version too.
