Armour piercing sword ESTOC

The heavy plate armour of the medieval age had few opponents that could face it and live. While gunpowder naturally made plate armour obsolete, weapons for the effective destruction of armoured opponents up to that point relied on heavy hammers aimed at crushing an opponent- somewhat inefficient, though miles ahead of the common swords utility in such a matter.

In the midst of the discovery, came the Estoc, or Tuck. Used for getting in the tight chinks in the plates where seperate parts (called Lames) intersect with one another. It would also neatly pierce the vulnerable armpit and inner knee, as well as the eye slit of a helm. While each of these vital points may be hard to strike, so to is all mortal combat in this manner.

There is no Estoc in Oblivion. Two files would cause it good use however. One is the famous Spears of Cryodiil. The estoc was sometime "haft-handed"- gripped at the unsharpened blades lowest section above the guard. In this way a knight may use it as a spear, and indeed there is historical account of them being designed with that double purpose in mind.

The second is this http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13388 wonderful thrusting mod that adds a quick piercing blow to the players standing power attack, an essential to those who like Rapier mods (of which the Estoc is a sort of Forerunner if you will).

Please, someone, the sword is relatively simple in construction! a foursided pyramid elongated into a very fine point, similar to the LilyRapier. The steeply edged blade is made to better penetrate armour- it was unsharpened, save the wicked point.

Now some images of real examples, digital images and a replica. Please! anyone!

Can I pop in right quick and say that looks amazing, LHammonds?

No! You may not! That's two strikes for your bad behavior. lol Thanks.

EDIT: I was so close to being finished earlier today but I simply ran out of time. Now that all the kids are in bed and other duties have been taken care of, I'm now able to finish this up and get it done.

I know the texture is not spectacular but I've spent all the time on this mod that I'm going to spend. Anyone else is free to make re-textures if they want. I encourage it.
