Deleted14191059User
>>Problem Solved<< Help is no longer required, but thanks to those who replied. I've been trying for a while now to have some way of having a shadow cover my characters eyes when they wear a hood, in a style similar to that of Assassin's Creed artwork such as this - http://img13.deviantart.net/682f/i/2012/355/f/d/ezio_auditore_by_x_avarice_x-d5orean.jpgI haven't been able to find any mods that have done this so far except for one in oblivion - http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12870/? I've tried making my own one by editing the mesh on the Mask of Blades mod ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30033/? ) to fill in the eyes and then apply a texture that fades from black to transparent so that I could wear it alongside a hood, but I don't quite understand Alpha masks/channels etc. so it ended up just looking very odd in game.Would anyone be willing to do this? From what I can tell it wouldn't take too long for someone who knows what they are doing, and it would help me out a lot  Edited August 25, 2015 by Guest
FrankFamily
Hi, if i remember right, the iron helmet has that effect on the eyes, might be easier to start from there.

megageeklizzy
I think that ENBs and ini settings determine how shadows are rendered. They only work on things that are set to create shadows, though. I thought armors had shadows, but I could be wrong. I'll see what I can find with a few quick searches. If I can't find anything, I'll help you make your own. You shouldn't have to worry about alphas or anything, you can just give the extra piece a place on the UV map and edit the texture in a program like paint.net that can handle transparency. On an ADHD note, I love Megaman Zero.

It's a shame it ended but I'm glad that it actually got a proper ending.
Hexxagone
I achieved this look my downloading the bandana mod. I wore a hood and a black bandana over my eyes and it looked like you were describing in low light.

I wore a hood and a black bandana over my eyes and it looked like you were describing in low light. That's actually an interesting way of going about it, but I'm looking more for the gradient effect from shadow to transparent down the face, rather than the "shadow" immediately stopping below the eyes. Thanks for the help though :)
Deleted14191059User
Was finally able to get it working by adding an NiAlphaProperty to the mesh, thanks to those who replied though!
