RichWebster
Hi I was wondering if there is a way to generate DistantLOD for just a particular mod, rather than running tes4lodgen and creating LOD for eveything. For example if I make a castle or a bridge mod, and upload it, I would like to include the LOD files for the mod for people who don't want to use tes4lodgen. Another example would be wanting to create DistantLOD for just Forts and not Ruins. Is this possible? Many thanks for your help :)
Hickory
Since everybody's mod list is different, that would not be a good idea. TES4LODGen is the only sensible answer to generating distant LOD files.

I'd just like to know if it can be done, and how :)

Excellent thank you! :D Last question, say I want to generate LOD for New Roads and Bridges in my game, but not Imperial Isle. Or for Dark Forest, but not Forts.... is there a way to do this? Appreciate your time mate :)
Hickory
Bridges, the same as my previous comment. Roads would (as I understand it) come under landscape LOD, not VWD LOD.

Where is the option is Construction Set to set it to view when distant? :)
Hickory
Where is the option is Construction Set to set it to view when distant? :) Double click on your placed object, and it's in the Reference window, underneath 'Persistent Reference' in the 3D Data tab. RichWebster
Cheers mate, but that option is already checked for all the New Roads and Bridges towers and bridges etc.

For objects, did you remember to do World >> World Testing >> Update Distant LOD?
