Dialog Topic Conflicts FNVedit

Curious while cleaning up some conflicts with various mods I noticed CNRbeta (the NCR overhaul mod) Vanessa Companion mod and my own custom companion mod I am testing before releasing have a couple conflicts with Dialog. Namely GREETING, FollowersWait and FollowersLetsGo the conflict is with the Priority. I don't think there is any issue but I just thought it was odd and my mod is lower in the order and wins the conflict. Other related topics have no conflict even with different priorities so what is up with these 3? It's annoying having these listed in red, etc in FNVedit XD

 

Any idea's why?

If you think about it, the priority for GREETING doesn't really matter, since no dialog will occur at all without a greeting topic with the applicable conditions on it anyway. So there's no reason to change it from 90.


As far as the followers topics from the VNPCFollowers quest, an author may have wanted to rearrange the order they appear when in dialog. That's the only effect of the priority setting. Unfortunately only one author gets to win in this regard. I've avoided the issue in my mods by using the VNPCFollowers topics just for the wheel and hide them when in dialog. I made new ones in my follower quest to handle those functions when in dialog.

Ha! Yeah I actually did it to keep a visual order while developing the topics for my companion XD. Never removed it. Oddly enough one of the Beth people changed one of the topics priority as well to 5 in Dead Money don't recall off hand if it was for Wait or LetsGo which conflicts with the 3 mods as well. I haven't noticed priority issue in game (I wasn't looking for it) but now that I know it's there gonna write the conflicting topics for the companions and see if it messes with vanilla companions and such as well.
