Assistance Needed Please

Hi i got a huge problem with my game. I did a clean reinstall of the main game and all my mods and when i start playing the game everyt time i try to get to icdistrict market city my game crashes.Or if i save and quit it crashes as well.Here is my error message i keep getting.

Now this is very perplexing to say the least. I took 4hrs on 3 different occasions to install every file and component right and carefully followed every directions and read me for each mod but nothing.I run both Obmm and Obse. My Os is a windows 7 but i never had any issues until today. Could someone please help shed some light to my situation and help a fellow gamer out. Thank you very much in advance.. THat's a tricky one to pin down, since it's an unhandled exception. Your best bet is to first uninstall Oblivion if you installed it to the default 'Program Files' folder structure. Then reinstall it to C:\Games\Oblivion\. Once you have done that, install weOCPS and Fast Exit. Remember to close all unnecessary programs and applications when running Oblivion -- if you want music, use an mp3 player or something, not iTunes -- Oblivion is very processor intensive. You could even try Game Booster. Some say it helps, though I've never noticed any difference when using it.

Hello and thank you for your response. I believe my installation is not the issue is the mods i have installed one or two is causing me the problem.The first few times i had to reinstall i located the issue but now as i posted above i did everything right but now it won't work hardly at all.I use weOPS tool you suggested already and i don't use any custom music other than the ones other members have uploaded to this site. I just now installed BOSS for the first time.Maybe that will help as well.

 

I just wish there was a software out there that will tell you specifically what file is causing you the issue instead of having to go one file at a time to try and figured out what went wrong especially since i am running about 50 mods or so.It is a very time consuming process that way.This will be the 4th time tonight i try to get my game to work luckily i made a back up of my original install with all my major overhauls already installed as well so that will at least cut down on the amount of work i have to do.

 

I ran the game and no crash.So now i will for the 4th time install the rest of the minor mods one by one and I pray that this time (Keeping my fingers crossed) that i can get to the bottom of this perplexing and frustrating issue.

I am back still having issues.I solved the crash problems for the most part until just now were my game just froze up.I believe i might have found a possible problem.I use Ryu natural environments mod does anybody know if that mod can cause issues with the in game world?

 

My reason for asking is that when i get to the area just south of the main bridge to the Imperial city i get to that area and instead of a straight road i get a road that shoots up straight up a cliff or mountain and it is impassable.And the mountains are on top of houses buildings etc i believe it even covers the shrine of dibella as i see the followers are on top of the mountain.

 

There are not suppose to be any mountains or cliffs in that area whatsoever.So i know there is something seriously wrong.Is like the ground just raised up in the air out of nowhere. I also use imperial cities upgrade mod as well.I will greatly appreciate it if someone can shed some light for me as i am now forced to reinstall for a 5th time in 2 days.Thank you in advance. You said earlier that you don't think your installation is an issue. I disagree. But on this specific issue, you clearly have mod conflicts, and they are likely caused by a bad load order or incompatible mods. Please post your mod list.

Hello hickory thank you for being so helpful.I am starting to think that you are correct and maybe something is conflicting badly with my game even though i took my time and followed all directions and so forth.I never had any issues of this type before and i have downloaded mods for this game for a long time now. I use Boss,weOps,Obmm,and Obse and the anti stutter mod as well to try and prevent issues from arising.That said i am currently starting to reapply my minor mods once i again after i reinstalled my game and the major overhaul mods and a few minor ones.So for right now here's the load list as it looks right now before i proceed.This load order hasn't given me any issues whatsoever

And you are still installing mods and addind to the complexity of diagnostics? Posting two separate mod lists has confused the issue totally. I don't even know where to begin, except to advise you, again, to uninstall Oblivion and reinstall outside of Program Files. Then, and only then, start to reinstall your mods, and use BOSS to order them.

Hi well i posted my old load file just so you can get an idea as to what mods i have been using.As i said and explained clearly before the first load order i posted is my original clean install which is my back up that i use in case anything goes wrong it already has all the major overhaul mods i use including some minor ones installed with it that way i don't have to completely uninstall everything from scratch like you just suggested.But really it was no need for me to post my backup as i already know that one works fine so my apologies on that.

 

The back up i use is crash free which is why i use it.I begin reinstalling the rest of my mods one by one after reinstalling my backup so i can see for myself what mod is causing the conflict which is very tedious work but it works as i found out what my issue is.So suffice to say i am not a complete newbie at this as i dealt with totalwargames for years and even created my own mods for it and that series of games are more buggy than oblivion in my opinion and i worked very hard to solve this on my own so i don't have to bother you gentlemen but i couldn't so i ended up opening this thread.

 

Thankfully i fixed the problem.All i was asking of you was to look at the load orders i posted to see if anything seemed out of place that's all.And i posted my old one so you can see for yourself what the load order was with all my mods installed before i uninstalled my game to see if you maybe could find a fault there.As i said i really didn't have to post my backup which is the first load order i posted just my old one which was causing me the issues.So my mistake on that.

 

That said it was the ninja clan mod that was causing me the problem.I still get a crash here and there but that's normal with oblivion anyway.At least now i can play it for the most part.Thank you for all your suggestions and help especially with showing me how to post my load order and also for your patience.And my apologies if i came across as confusing.If i have any further issues i will post them.
