wollam11
I'm having CTD issues. Someone told me to do the following, but I can't quite grasp what they are trying to say: "You should go through each section of the Bashed Patch and look for any esps that you have in your Load Order... - I understood everything up to here. ... in Merge Patches and each Import section of the Bashed Patch." - This loses me Please help. wollam11
I think I discovered the problem, re-reading Common Oblivion's readme, I discovered this line regarding the COBL Filter Late MERGE ONLY .esp: "Missing Masters: Most likely this mod has masters that are not available on your machine. As a result activating it results in a "Missing Masters" problem which will cause Oblivion to crash immediately on startup." Wrye Bash is indeed saying that .esp is missing a master. It's saying it- despite the fact that that .esp is rolled up into the Bashed Patch. According to the COBL read me:"However, when Bash merges this into the bashed patch, it does a filtered merge which discards references to mods that you don't have active, thus avoiding the missing masters problem. (Which is why Wrye Bash is required.)" Does this mean that there is a problem with the "filtered merge"? If so, what is that (I could find no reference to a "filtered merge, Wrye Bash" on google)? How do I fix it?
Hickory
What it means is that you must have that plugin deactivated. Wrye Bash will give you a warning when you proceed to rebuild your Bashed Patch, asking if you want it to be automatically deactivated. Just say 'Yes' and build your patch. WB will do the rest.
