Assistance needed with terrain lod

Hi guys I need some help with a serious issue I'm having with terrain lod. I'm currently working on a small exterior worldspace and whenever I generate the terrain lod it comes out either black or brown. I've tried it using Oscape and the Ck with the same results. Object and Tree LOD work fine so I don't know why the terrain will be an issue. When I checked the .dds textures most have black squares and few have the terrain texturing I made.The worldspace is a snow covered area btw. I've posted images below. Any help would be appreciated. Di0 might get in here after me with a easier way, but I had to copy all land textures and point the old landscape textures to the new base textures to get oscape to color it anything other than dirt

Lol any way will help at this point . How exactly did you do that?

Sorry I'm out of state. Look at the texture landscape editor uses. Type the name into the obj window. Then look at what that texture points to. Find that one. Copy it. Then point the land texture to your copy. Done ;)

Thanks. I managed to get 'decent' terrain lod using the ck terrain generation except for the fact that the cell borders are a darker grey than the snow lod. That's not entirely a train smash. I will try your method and see if I get any joy from Oscape.

Dude.. rightnow, plane ticket to vegas and put everything you own on a random number in roulette

Lmao. Well yes and no. The CK nuked my 16x16 worldspace and worked on my 32x32 version so go figure. I'll try your method and Oscape later cos generating 32X32 meshes and textures takes about 30min in the CK LOL.

Copied the textures and did as you suggested and everything works like a charm. Oscape is once again playing ball. Thanks and I appreciate it.

Get ur hands on Oscape to generate Land LOD and TESLODGEN for statics.

Make sure you unpack all the contents of ur skyrim texture and mesh BSA's into ur DATA directory as well as the DLC meshes and textures.

Ditch CK generation, it's garbage like the guys said.
I'm 99% sure Bethesda used an external program to gen their LOD.

TESLODGEN generates all the statics for u in one click.
Just load it up, tick ur esp, then hit generate.
It's as simple as.

Probably someone else mentioned this crap, but meh, too lazy to read.
