Denisowator
First of all, which is better (easier and quicker) to make fairly simple sword and blade models, Blender or 3Ds Max? Next, while creating the models how would I scale them to be equal with the in-game world and other items? I've made many models and model attempts in the past, but I've never actually made models to use in games or for games, so I don't have a single bit of understanding when it comes to scaling. And lastly, Once I've got a model completed, how would I assign it to my item in the CK?Thanks in advance.
billyro
It's difficult to know which of those two programs is better, and most people use one or the other and not both. You won't be making super quality stuff from the get-go anyway, so it won't really matter which one you pick - as long as you practice lots, you'll produce the same quality content regardless. For scale, it's easiest to just import a vanilla weapon for scale and positioning. For the last part, you'll have to export the model as a .nif file, fix it up and assign textures to it in Nifskope (there are Nifskope weapon tutorials you can search for on Google), then open the CK and proceed from there (again, there are tutorials for it). I laughest so hard the more there was, this was even greater than "The Stanley Parable" and "There Is No Game". Thank you so much for the spoils! And the Thumbs Up of Victory! :D
