Annoying Pixels

I thought these pixels were part of the background, but when I scroll down a bit they move with the screen. I know it's rather minor and insignificant, but can these be fixed? Please? I see them every time I come to this site. I hate to be the nitpicker here, but they're annoying.

I attached a SS and circled them in red.

For what it's worth, this graphical error seems to be inside the "imagemap.png" file used by the style sheet for the backgrounds of the individual page elements. There's a small notch at the right end of the background segment for the header bar and the style for the center area below the buttons is set to repeat it horizontally to fill the div. As you can see there's 2 blocks with this background image next to each other, creating said notch in the middle and at the right end of the div.

You looked into it and found the issue! Awesome. I honestly wasn't expecting a response to this minor problem. Most ppl will probably think I'm crazy for even bringing it up, but I notice tiny details that most don't. Not a great thing, it can drive me nuts. Haha.

Thank you for looking into it though. Much appreciated. I know that site is going to be revamped or updated a bit (so I've read in an old announcement); but I don't know if a new layout will be used. Hopefully those pixels will be gone with the revamp.

Thanks again for looking into the issue.

Heh, I couldn't resist. I'm doing this in my job, programming company websites, mostly server scripting with PHP but also JS and the other fancy things only happening in the browser. At one point it became necessary for me to self-educate myself in CSS and website styling. Now, whenever I notice an oddity or are made aware of one, I can't resist shooting up my browser's Developer Tools and checking it out.

However, keep in mind the moderating staff around here is only volunteer workers doing this in their free time, so me knowing the source of the issue reported doesn't actually mean a thing. That's why I posted my short investigation's results here, so as soon as one of the site's developers stumbles across this topic they can save themselves a part of the effort and just think about fixing it next time they work on the backgrounds or graphics, if it's something that needs fixing.

I would've done the same, even if I was still only a regular member, simply because... it's a habit of mine.

We moderators can relay bug reports and the like to the places where developer staff will be more likely to see them, but apart from that there's not much else we can do either.
