  1. I made a couple mods for Outward. Since Definitive Edition has been out, I updated them and made a couple more. However, I am trying to get Vortex to work with Outward Definitive Edition so that I can add a Mod Manager download button. Most Outward mods have moved over to Thunderstore, for whatever reason, and I would like to try to get authors back on Nexus Mods for Outward. The only thing Thunderstore has that is better for downloading, is the mod manager download. Which is why I'm trying to get Vortex to work with Definitive Edition. Vortex will work with NON Definitive Edition; meaning it will install mods to: Outward\BepInEx I tried to manually change the installing folder to point to: Outward\Outward_Defed For the Definitive Edition, but it won't. It keeps staying at the main Outward directory and not switching to it's Outward\Outward_Defed folder. I tried structuring my download files to be: Ouward_Defed\BepInEx\plugins\INSERT MOD Hoping it would install my mods in the correct place. Unfortunately, Vortex won't install that to the main Outward directory. Instead, it will automatically make a BepInEx folder into the main Outward directory. So the download ended up being: Outward\BepInEx\Outward_Defed\BepInEx\plugins\INSERT MOD Which is wrong, obviously. Can Vortex be updated to support Definitive Edition? Without the use of this "partiality mods" or whatever that is. It's not being used anymore for Outward. All Definitive Edition mods and BepInEx have to point to: Outward\Outward_Defed Hopefully I get some help with this. Thank in advance.
  2. Thank you. I only had a handful of mods that no longer worked, but I don't use many mods so I wasn't sure how many were actually being affected. Can't imagine people with hundreds of mods are experiencing. Thanks again for the answer.
  3. When Skyrim Special Edition came out, Nexus added SSE as a new section on the website to separate Skyrim mods from SSE mods. I'm wondering if the same will be done with AE; to separate Skyrim/SSE mods from AE mods. I suppose if Authors choose "new game" while uploading their mods and type in Skyrim Anniversary Edition, then the new section will be created. I'm also wondering from the community as a whole (both mod authors and users), do you think this is necessary? Or should mod authors just have two version of their mods if they choose to update them; a SSE version and a AE version. If you're a mod author for Skyrim, how do you feel about having to remake your mod pages all over again if a new section for Skyrim AE is added? o.O
  4. You must not be familiar with ModTheSims. A site that has been around since the TS2 days and remains free to this day for all users. Personally I get all of my Sims mods from there if possible, because they have proven themselves dedicated to the community after so many years. When I got back into Sims recently, I was disappointed at the mod selection available here, to be honest. True, NexusMods isn't Sims 4 popular (I wish it was) but it's still where I post all my Sims 4 mods and no where else. I actually just updated all my mods over the last couple of weeks and added a few. I use to use ModTheSims, but it's just a cluster mess of a site imo. The search doesn't work as well as NexusMods and isn't as well organized or layed out. I get it, only uploading my Sims 4 mods here on NexusMods does hinder the use of my mods and the potential user base; but I just don't care for ModTheSims. I don't like it's uploading design either (I took a look at it). PLUS, I haven't heard good things about that site. As these are only rumors, but I've read other mod authors from that site say that the staff has made changes to their pages and things like that without notifying or the author's consent. Which is why several of the mod authors I use to get mods from are no longer on ModTheSims. They either made their own website or went to patreon. So that's another reason I never bothered to use ModTheSims for my Sims 4 mods. It's gone downhill since TS2. Also, a lot of mods on there get stolen off each other. I'm sure there could have been people that came here and uploaded my mod(s) as their own elsewhere, but ehh... can't do anything about that. People respect each other more here on NexusMods and I don't see authors stealing other people's work on this website. I learned to make my own Sims 4 mods so I don't have to use ModTheSims anymore XD. I just prefer NexusMods and I like my mod(s) page layout. I love the customization I can do here on NexusMods for my pages. At first the downloading advertising was annoying but now I just don't care anymore. It's obviously here to stay since the staff isn't bothering to comment on this thread about it. And it's not like I'm downloading hundreds of mods all day everyday; having to deal with that. It only makes me a little sad every time I have to click a button that says "slow download". I think to myself... "awe....". I only prefer those buttons to be changed to "Download" and "Premium Download". If you ever used thesimsresouce THAT site is the worst I know of so far. Makes you wait 10 seconds or 60 if it catches your add blocker. If you go to another tab while "waiting" it stops and makes you start over XDDD. Truly an a**hole site <3. NexusMods, please stop putting a little sadness in my life and change the name of your download buttons. That's all for me. XD
  5. Is the OP around anymore? His online activity is private. Could he or someone update the pictures so they show again from page 2 and on? Maybe another could remake this thread with updated picture links? Preferably ones that won't expire.
  6. Is there a reason the "new site" that's suppose to be so much better, is currently slower than the old site? When I clicked around a few times just to look at things such as the popular 30 days or all time, that gear cog would spin for quite some time before loading anything. A few times (especially when clicking all times section), it would just keep spinning and spinning and spinning... couldn't take it anymore. Nothing would load. No, it's not my internet nor my computer, so don't even try that. I went back to the old site and clicking around on the old site, everything is instant. Is anyone else having an issue with the new site being slow or not loading things you're trying to view? Reloading the page sometimes helps, but it's annoying. Is it because it's currently on an "rd" of the old site? Will it speed up once the old site is gone? I'm also not sure how the popular "all time" section on the new site is suppose to work. I though it would be like "top files", but if it loads, the files are not in the same order of "top files". What is suppose to be the difference between those two sections? Ooh and... I seem to have to click on top files twice (or anything in the drop down menus at the top of the page) before the new site recognizes my click and loads it. I also don't understand this "media" section. If someone would like to explain why it is there. What is it suppose to be and the purpose of this section. What if I don't want this strange "media" section showing, can I disable it? I don't want it there. I know for a fact that I will NEVER look at it. Side note rant that doesn't matter and has nothing to do with my question(s): I honestly don't care for the new site design. Everything being white, light or dark gray is... I don't even have words for it. I never cared for Nexus's choice of gray on gray tbh lol. It's easy to miss things when you don't have more contrast or colour to make some titles a bit more obvious to see. It's a little cleaner in some sections, I'll give it that. For instances, the files sections show you the main files while the old ones are tidied up under a drop down menu instead of all showing in a long list. That's umm... better. I guess. Overall the whole site is still a cluster f**k, just... a modern looking cluster f**k. XD. Not that any of this matter, since the old site will be obliterated and everyone will be forced to use the new site whether they like it or not XD. Which is like... whatever. Everything changes people. I "just accept" change. It's easier that way. Meh.
  7. AMAZING! That WORKED. When I first looked at that, I was like..... umm, okay wtf does my touch screen have anything to do with this? How would he even know I have one? He must be just guessing. Anyway, I didn't dismiss it though. I always try suggestions. To my surprise, it actually worked. I don't have a laptop, but my middle screen is a touch screen. Though I don't have the icon issue (mine never shows and doesn't randomly pop up), that doesn't mean the touch keyboard wasn't still on internally. I went ahead and ran the services.msc and disabled and stopped it. I ran SSE to test it out and it didn't crash after 15 mins. I kept playing... 20, 30, 40, 1+hour and it stayed on. YAY! My mind is befuddled on how a touch keyboard could affect a video game and cause it to crash. THANK YOU! Thank you very much.
  8. Not really looking for a 3rd party program to stop the 15 minute crash. That will be the last thing I do or look into if I can't find a solution and/or if no one knows of a quick fix or setting change.
  9. I originally sent a private message (PM) to Dark0ne and SirSalami back in April of this year 2016 but I never got a response from either one. I since then haven't played Second Life (SL) either (its boring and there is nothing to do), but I came across this PM when going through my inbox and decided to DL SL again and see if this shop still exists and it does. So instead of trying to be discrete about it, I'm just going to leave this message here to the whole community and if anyone wants to or can take action, then by all means go ahead. I'm only going to be informing the community and nothing more will be done on my part. I will be uninstalling SL again once I'm through with this notice to the Nexus Community. Here is the second PM I sent to SirSalami, but I will be adding notes of changes in red/caps/bold to it if any is needed: ****************************** I had originally sent this message to Dark0ne via private message, but I'm not sure if he ever checks those so I'm sending this to you since you're the community manager; in hopes perhaps you check your private messages. Message below is a copy and paste of original message: Hello Dark0ne SirSalami, I came across a shop in a game called Second Life that has many of the armour mods from here on Nexus mods. This shop is selling all of these stolen armours as clothing in the game for profit within that game. Second Life has a currency called Linden. You can either acquire Linden from within the game however you choose or you can buy Linden with real money. All Linden you acquire on to your account can be traded/sold back to Second Life for real life money. A lot of people have shops in the game and sell clothing they make and that is how they make Linden for real life money. You are the ONLY second person I'm informing at this time. I thought I'd ask you on how to go about reporting them. I don't want the person that owns the shop in Second Life to get wind of knowing that someone found their shop and knows it is all stolen items. If they do, they can just take their shop down and I'd rather they get caught in action to be honest. I would like to see that person have to pay back all that Liden back to Second Life or something, but I doubt that would happen. If anything, SL may only have the shop removed. But who is to say they won't open another one? I was thinking of making a video to capture all the stolen items this person has and/or taking a bunch of screenshots. I'm kind of lazy so I rather just do a video since it will be faster XD. After that I was going to send a private message of the video and information of the shop on Second Life to all the mod authors that I know of whose armour(s) are on there. And obviously I would inform Nexus, you, as well. But then I decided to go through you first and see if you and your team wanted to handle this yourself. I don't know if you would be able to take legal actions against Second Life and the shop owner or not. The information of the shop is as follows: Shop Name: LostGem Mesh and Market PlaceOwned By : Twisted Sista shopping complexLocation : Spiritual Reboot (188, 217, 22)Size : 24144 sq mCategory : ShoppingMaturity : M Moderate Founder of Twisted Sista shopping complex: nhySecond Life name of nhy: KimSecond Life Birthdate: June 14, 2011 If you or anyone on your team know how to use Second Life, you can go straight to the shop from this link: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Spiritual%20Reboot/189/218/24 YOU MUST HAVE SL INSTALLED FOR THE 'VISIT THIS LOCATION' TO WORK.Just click on "Visit this location". Walk into the shop and go to the left. There are panels with six armours on each of them you can scroll through. The stolen armours are throughout the shop, but a lot are over to the left. **THE SHOP HAS SINCE CHANGE AND NOW IS JUST THREE LEVELS**. I don't know how long the shop itself has been open because it doesn't say, but the founder has had their account on Second Life since 14th June, 2011. There seem to be a lot of campers in the shop as well so, to the looks of it, the shop gets a decent amount of traffic. So who knows how much money they have made off these stolen armour mods and for how long. I hope this is enough information for now in this brief message. I'd write more, but I need to start working and I think the above is enough. Have a great weekend. ADDED TO THIS MESSAGE (not from original): Off the top of my head, I know there are armours from Immersive Armors, Triss Armor Retextured, Northgirl Armor, DreamBurrows, etc. There are more that I recognize but I do not know the armour mod names nor whom the authors are.****************************** Well that's it. I leave this to the Nexus community to do or not do whatever. There are stolen armour/clothing mods on Second Life and this person who owns the shop has been making a profit (real life money) off them. If any of you want to inform some authors about this in a PM or just link this thread to them, please do so.
  10. I'm encountering the 15 minute crash bug with SSE. Does anyone have a little trick to stop this from happening? For example, earlier this year, upon upgrading to Windows 10 the classical CK would crash every 15 minutes. I think it was Darkfox127 who told me that by changing bEnableAudio=1 to bEnableAudio=0 in the SkyrimEditor.ini should fix the problem and stop the Classic CK from crashing. I made the change and the Classic CK stopped crashing every 15 mintues. Now that SSE has come out I wanted to check it out, see how it runs and how it looks, etc. But the game, with no mods; completely vanilla, crashes every 15 mins (exactly every 15 mins, I've been timing it. Same as what happened with the classic CK). Has anyone run into this problem and knows of a quick fix or something to change in any settings or .ini files like I did with the Classic CK to get SSE to stop crashing every 15 minutes?
  11. Huh? Fore last updated FNIS in June 2016 and he's still replying on his mod page in the posts. You might want to check the FNIS mod page to see if you have it tracked for updates.
  12. The Editor was set at 90. I changed it to 13. TYVM.
  13. When I press shift + enter, I get the spinning cursor but the actual gui doesn't show up. Does anyone know why this is? I am trying to make a few changes/tweaks to some ENB's I am trying out for Vivid Weathers. Specifically Tetrachromatic ENB for Vivid Weathers and Bleak Vivid Weathers. I know I could make the changes in the actual files, but that takes a long time. Going back and forth in and out of game to see how things look. >.<
  14. I have this mod. You need to have the .txt file in the Skyrim directory. That's it. So extract it from the .rar file. Then when in game do the "~ bat allchant" command and your inventory will fill up with all the armour/weapons listed in the .txt file. Read the instructions more carefully, as is says text file. Copy the text file named "allchant" to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim or C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim
  15. After merging and making a new .esp file, are you copying over all the meshes and textures folders from the mods you merged into your new .esp mod folder? You still need to do that if you're deactivating the other mods. Otherwise you'll have invisible/no armour. EDIT: Also, before merging you need to "check for errors" on all the mods you want to merge first. If any of them have errors, you cannot merge it until you've fixed them. Or just leave them out of the merge.
  16. Well, unfortunately after changing that value from 20 to 200, I was still only receiving 20 gold. I ran FNIS and started a new game, but it didn't work. I suppose maybe you would have to recompile the .psc to .pex, but I don't have any such program to do that.
  17. Ahh! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much! I found it. Thanks for DL'ing to check it out and help. I haven't played with this mod before. I've dl'ed it a long time ago and check it out but didn't use it at the time. Lately I've been bored of my playthroughs and thought, meh... I will start off as a prostitute and then I will pimp out my followers lol. So I dl'd the mod again. XDDDD
  18. Does anyone know where the value is to change how much gold you get after whoring yourself to someone (only female players can do this)? I want to be able to change it from 20 gold to 200 gold. My Dragonborn isn't a cheap hoe XD. Maybe she's a hoe this play through, but not a cheap one. :P I have been looking in the quest set up for "whoring" yourself around. It is quest aaSexScene03 and named "Player Auto Pimping", but I don't see any gold value set. I see the "gold001" listed, but there isn't anything indicating how much gold. The initial gold you get is 20, so I was mostly looking for that "20" but I don't see it anywhere. I even used the dev.esp he has in the Docs folder in order to see the scripts and I checked those too. But I still couldn't find anything. The gold is there in the scripts, but no specific set value. I used both the CK and TES5Edit to look. Nothing. :( I have change rewards values to quest before, such as those bounty quests where you go kill a bandit leader, giant, dragon, etc. Those reward values are blunty right there in your face. But this AP mod and its whoring quest has me defeated. I have no idea where he stuck that value or maybe I am overlooking it.
  19. So umm, several times I haven't gone through my notifications for a while and when I finally decide to, I accidently hit "Remove All" instead of "More...". I've done this countless times. This time, I did it to over 200 notifications. I haven't been here in a few weeks because I haven't been well. Anyway, could you possibly add a "Undo" feature if that is even possible? Or perhaps a "confirm to remove all" before actually removing all of them? If neither of those are possible, perhaps rendering Remove All in red, rather than blue which is the same colour as More.... While I am on the subject of notifications, how do I turn off the "[insert name here] has uploaded a new image". I honestly don't care about images being uploaded and can never seem to find in the settings what removes that one particular notification. I've looked countless times. Perhaps I'm always overlooking it?
  20. Well, it didn't take me hours... only a couple of minutes. Upon taking a quick look at the enblens files, if you set Raindrop max freqency( drops per sec)=7.0 to Raindrop max freqency( drops per sec)=0.0 within the enblens.fx.ini, it will disable those blurred raindrop drips off your screen. This applies to Bleak ENB.
  21. I was really hoping that would work, but it didn't. Thanks for the suggestion though. That tga file is for custom ENB rain, but I have the custom ENB rain disabled. Though, it didn't hurt to try removing the file. I'll have to look at other ENB's I have that don't add that raindrop blur to the screen and compare files. I guess I can spend time this weekend doing a bunch of trial and error for several hours until I figure out which file and variables are causing that raindrop blur effect on the screen. I've read through this: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBseries_INI; but it's incomplete and nothing there specifically states anything about raindrop effects on the screen. EDIT: It looks like it may be the values in the enblens.fx and/or enblens.fx.ini for this Bleak ENB. I'll have to fiddle with these files another time. I'll update this post if/when I figure it out in case anyone else comes across this issue and would like to disable it in other ENB's.
  22. I'm using Bleak ENB and I did post this in the "post" section there, but then saw that there hasn't been an answer to anyone's questions by anyone since October 4th; so I thought I'd give it a go here: Does anyone know how to disable the raindrop drips on your screen while it's raining? It makes me feel like I'm looking out a window all the time when it's raining and it rains a lot in my game. Plus those few seconds of a blurred spot on my screen from a raindrop is slightly annoying. I love this ENB, I just want to disable those raindrop drips off my screen. Extra info: I have the rain in the enbseries.ini set to false ([RAIN] Enable=false) because I use MoreRain for the rain texture. But with this ENB I now get raindrops on my screen and would like to disable it; I don't see where to do that.
  23. Just an update to what I've tried, but non helped the problem nor let the CK last any longer. Updated driversRan as AdminRan in compatibility mode for Win 7/8Disabled all other mods and only had the mod needed for editingRan the CK directly through Steam, rather than MOUninstalled and reinstalled the CKTurned off UltraMon (might as well try anything at this point) Non of the above helped nor made and difference.
  24. Is anyone else having an issue while using the Creation Kit with Windows 10 and it crashing after 15 minutes? I finally went ahead and updated to Windows 10 (from 8.1) a few weeks ago. I just started using the Creation Kit again today for the first time on Windows 10 (through MO) and the CK, no matter what I do, crashes after 15 minutes. Whatever I'm doing, I have to do all that I can, as fast as I can, before it crashes and I have to load it up again. It's kind of annoying constantly having to reload the CK and start modding again for only another 15 minutes. I've tried researching this issue, but most answers I've found are basic stuff I already did and/or know. Answers such as updating drivers (duh), running it as Admin, running it in Win 7/8 compatibility (that doesn't help), etc. I haven't tried this yet, but I'm going to attempt to disable all other mods and only load the one I'm editing (my house) and see if that helps any. If anyone came across this situation with Windows 10 and was able to fix it and/or at least get CK to not crash for at least 30 mins or more, please do let me know what you did. In the mean time... I guess I'll be uping my CK skills in speed. XD. Thanks in advance! ADDED: If you're wondering how the CK ran when I used it on Windows 8.1, it ran great! It rarely crashed on me. I could use it for hours or all day without any crashes.
