Something Crashes me Constantly, any hints?

I had to re-install FONV last night because of constant crashes due to mods or some other factor I still am not aware of. When I reinstalled and retrieved all of the mods I liked and wanted to keep, I was able to play for a while before I crashed again, and now my game is reverting back into that old routine. I'm on the Steam version, by the way.

 

I know that FONV has issues with Memory Leaks, but this is happening far too often for it to have a chance at doing something like that. I can only play for at least ~10 minutes before it crashes, and I'm wondering if someone can tell me, if any, what the problem is. At first I thought it was a problem with a mod, but even after disabling the suspected ones prior to my re-installation, I had no luck. I will post my mod list in the order it appears in my FOMM, and for what it's worth, each time I crash the Fault lies with FalloutNV.exe.

Also, for FOMODs, I have Shiloh DS in that form, the NV Child - Shojo Headgear too. I'm also running NVSE 1.7.

 

My last suspicion is that I have put too much on my character using the Cheat Terminal, on my "fun run" character. I leveled it up to 45 and have lots of perks on it, as well as adding in thousands of all types of ammo. Could that be a reason it crashes? I really need to know any possibilites. Perhaps my Load Order is bad?

 

I have numerous amounts of Retexturing mods, but I doubt that those would cause this kind of thing.

 

Please help me and give me some tips on what I should do. I've seen people with a lot more mods than this running more stable.

My copy has been crashing since I bought the damn thing. On two completely different computers none the less.

I tried tons of things. The most helpful thing so far has been to not use perk cheats.

 

I have looked into hardware, software, codecs, and mods. Shutting off some of the codec drivers did help you can go here http://www.nirsoft.net/

and download (Installed Codec) it will show you a list of all the codecs on your system and lets you shut off everything that isn't made by microsoft.

That let me play for around an hour before crashing, but by not messing with the perk codes I can now play for 3 – 4 hours before crashing.

 

I hope this helps, I know I got sick of trying things, and was ready to give up.

One thing that is quick and worth a try, it reduced a lot of my crashing when I got a whole spat of them:

 

In Steam -> Library, Right-click on New Vegas and select Properties

 

Next, select Local Files tab, then under that click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" and let it run. You can also defgragment cache files. Running the verify/defrag significantly reduced the amount of crashing I had going on, and like you I was also on a fairly new/clean install at the time.

 

NV is just wierd in many ways.
