chakaru11 Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 Hi there. I know this has been issued a myriad of times but no thread or topic about it ever seemed to actually solve the problem. I have been running Oblivion in window mode with my desktop resolution for month now and can happily alt/tab out of the game whenever I want, my computer can take it and my game never even flinched. Last night I accidentally switched from the game to the desktop SOMEHOW (it was not alt/tab, I have no idea how that hapened) and was left staring at my desktop with Oblivion running happily in minimized format in the taskbar. The music was still playing and my cursor was gone so I could not do anything. In the end I used the key combination for the task manager, but before I could stop the Oblivion process I got the "Oblivion has crashed" message. Now everytime I start Oblivion in window mode it just minimizes itself, eats my cursor and all I can do is stare at my desktop wallpaper and listen to the Oblivion music. I tried every possible window resolution, it's no use. Since my game never gave me grief for alt/tabbing the hell out of it, this really came as a surprise.
