So I have a problem with Save game script scalpel. Was working ok with Nexus mod manager. Was sort of working with Mod manager. Had to manualy find the papyrus log files and the save gave, then it would sort things out. Now Save game script scalpel will not even start. Begins to start then closes. Have moved the folder to various locations, such as Mod manager file, vanilla save folder ( and copied the save from mod organizer to the save folder ) , skyrim data folder to see if was having trouble detecting any thing. Still not working. Any ideas to as why ?

Just a bit of a update. Still having issues. I have a Hard drive with two partitions. One partition has skyrim intalled and the windows 7 is a tripped down version. The other drive is a full windows 7. i can run the Save game script scalpel from the drive that does not have Skyrim on it. This though, as you can immagine a P.T.A.. I would like to be able to run Save game Script scalpel on the one partition.

1) What will happen if you download and install the latest version of the tool in a separate folder?

2) The tool is accessing the registry to determine where exactly the Skyrim is installed. Therefore, the launching location shound't matter much.

3) Have you tried running the tool under the Mod Organizer? Please, note that you can convert the tool into x86 application and MO should recognize it.

4) As Windows 7 user, you should have the latest versoin of .NET Framework installed ( 4.5.1 or higher ).

Use Save Game Script Cleaner instead. Mod Organizer irrelevant.

Thanks for the replys. Have the latest version intalled. So what iis the method to convert it to x86? will see if I have the latest net.frame work installed, I know it is a 4 something.

And lastly I use Save Game cleaner, very good for general cleaning, but as the name sugests the other toool allows for pinpoint repair or removal of just single scripts.
