Is there a way to edit my character with GECK or something like that.

so a long time ago I made a child companion. i think i did a great job, he doesnt look like a midget or a kid with an adult face lol. I kinda want to do that with my character, but doing that in game with such lame sliders ._ . it's impossible.

Sure. The easiest thing to do is copy one of the existing character generation presets and copy that. Take that copy and change it to the race of your companion, then go into the face properties and copy and paste the face from your companion to your new character generation preset. Note that whatever field you have selected in the face gen won't be copied, so copy/paste the face, change to another field, and copy/paste it again (stupid buggy GECK).

 

If the companion uses a race that isn't playable, you can either make that race playable or make a copy of it and make that copy playable.

 

Once you have your copy, you can play around with the features in the GECK as much as you want.

 

If you want to put your new character preset in a new file and not in your companion's file, you may need to copy over the companion's race and any other assets it uses like hair and eyes, etc. into your new file.
