redeyesandlonghair Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 All my partners have a weird gray polygon attached to their butt that goes off into the distance forever and ever. Also, whenever I pay my bounty and go to the imperial prison area, there are like 50 people standing there (theyre there even if I disable all the companion esps though so I dont think thats CMP) Anyone else have that issue? NeonPeanut Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Well, the polygon problem is most likely a mesh issue. Make sure your meshes are all installed properly. If your companions are from beast race or any other race with tail, you can have that problem when they do not have correct skeleton attached(only beast race skeleton has tail bone, by default). You can go into the window for each NPC in question and click the box to change Characters\_Male\skeleton.nif to Characters\_Male\skeletonbeast.nif. In console mode, you can click on one of those 50 mysterious people and see what the first two characters of the form ID are. Then you can compare those two characters to the load order in Wrye Bash to figure out which mod added them. They are in fact beast race partners (the Ainmhi!) and they were in fact using the non-beast skeleton. I have changed them to use the beast skeletons, so the problem is probably fixed (if you never see me post here again, then that means that fixed it, yay!)
