Hide Sheathed Weapon

Is there a way to hide your sheathed weapon, so when you unsheath your knife, its as though your pulling it out of your robes?

It can be done with scripting and OBSE. Basically, the script detects when the weapon is sheathed and replaces the mesh with a different one (in this case an invisible one). The various lightsaber mods are good examples of in-game mesh changes.
