Hallgarth
awesome. any info on how this works? My guess is that he adds a first person model to the armoraddon. But that's just a guess. Am I close, or?
scrivener07
Heres everything I used to make a new overlay. DownloadThese are Skyui HUD Widgets Duplicate one of the existing overlayname.fla and open it in flash. Right click the image in the IDE library and click properties. Re-import/update the image in flash. Publish it to the game directory with the following schema. Each overlay swf is associated with a world model nif file path. So if you wanted to add an overlay to iron helmets Iron Helmet World Model: Armor\Iron\Male\HelmetGND.nif Rename the swf and make these directories. Starting at "exported\overlays\.." make it just like the world model path of the nif you want overlays for. Mod Dist: Data\Interface\exported\overlays\Armor\Iron\Male\HelmetGND.swf Data\Readme.txt Thats all a new overlay should need.
Leubast
I want to help and my plan was to take the 3D model of helmets, apply the texture to them and take to pictures where your eyes would be and make an overlay using the two pictures but I can't get the texture to actually show up on the model (in nifskope or extracted to .obj in blender). Can anyone help?
Leubast
With what I had, I made this as a more "realistic" Iron Helmet overlay.http://i.imgur.com/9XLSMtS.jpgUsed my own custom texture as well.

Leubast
I think I'll wait, improve it a little more, and actually do all Vanilla helms first and send them in a pack.
