scrivener07
Did the mod load your overlay right away? Keep up the great work, Dwemer is my favorite.
Leubast
Oh that's just an old screenshot with the overlays in separate layers. I can't actually boot up Skyrim 'til I get a new video card.Steel Plate was the most fun to work with. scrivener07
The overlay will now react to the players motions. Swaying animations added for jumping, strafing, and sprinting. Video: https://youtu.be/An_1koqa62U

Maybe with bows and crossbows we could somehow zoom the overlay to the right to make it seems like you are only using your right eye to aim? megapolom
This would be great. The only thing that I can't see is how would you make that transition. Just slow zoom to one eyehole or instantaneous the second you draw the bow? Plus the viewing field would not be symmetric anymore and in some cases, you wouldn't see the place you're aiming at. Saw your steel plate helmet overlay and loved it. I'll start texturing a couple of overlays I made (multiple choices never hurt anyone  ) and I just wanted to know where did you get the textures. How do you add images in spoiler? I'll start texturing a couple of overlays I made (multiple choices never hurt anyone  ) and I just wanted to know where did you get the textures. How do you add images in spoiler?I had 3 ideas on how it could work.1. Zoom - Zoom the overlay to the right center by maybe 50%.2. Stretch - Stretch the overlay so the right side fills the entire screen.3. Pan - Move the overlay to the left by 360 pixels. We could also make a "Closed Left Eye" overlay for a bit of screen edge blur and pseudo focus. For pan, we'd have to make a little more texture 360 pixels to the right, lol.http://i.imgur.com/OGNdsNX.gif Thanks! I get them from here: http://cgtextures.com/ They are free to use and I just edit them to match Skyrim's textures to the point you can't even tell, lol. I would assume like this:
[img][/img]
Edited September 13, 2015 by Everlive
megapolom
I prefer 1. or 2.However I remembered another problem that needs a solution, sorry :/If the transition happens every time you draw the bow the whole thing might become annoying, especially when firing arrow after arrow.Don't know what to do about it though. Maybe an option in MCM to have it happen when you unsheathe your (X)bow or ready an arrow, or even have a hotkey? That way, you can 'hip-fire' your (X)bow, lol.
