This project is being worked on with the vision of Tamriel Online being completely and fully operable in the near future.

 

What does it do?

 

It completely reworks the perk trees to transform Skyrim into a class based RPG, each class will have 4 definitive class spells, each of those spells will have talents in the perk tree which enhance them, making them stronger or changing their effect altogether.

 

The rules for the class based system:

  • You can pick 3 classes max, but only 1 unique class in each tree.
  • You can equip spells and weapons which are not relevant to your class but they will have their efficiency cut by 50%.
  • Some classes cannot equip Light, Medium or Heavy Armor or cannot make full use of it, for example the Summoner is capable of wearing Light Armor, but if the Summoner wears Medium Armor he will move slower, if he wears Heavy Armor he will move even slower, all classes can wear Cloth.

Classes planned: Summoner, Necromancer.

 

Overview of the Battle Mage

  • The Battle Mage can choose any Aspect to adapt to the current situation in a fight.
  • The Battle Mage main weapons are Bound Weapons and Conjuration Spells.
  • The Battle Mage can wear all types of Armor.
  • Aspect of Archer, Warrior, Berserker and Rogue allows the Battle Mage to fill a plethora of roles in the world of Skyrim.
  • Basically a jack of all trades, but master of none.

Overview of the Summoner

  • The Summoner can place runes on the ground which explode on contact and/or over time and summon Fire, Frost, Lightning Atronachs and Daedras.
  • The Summoner can wear Cloth and Light Armor.
  • The Summoner's main weapons are Conjuration Spells and Staves.
  • The Summoner can set up the playing field before starting a fight.
  • Daedra summons are shortlasting and cost Health instead of Magicka compared to Atronachs.

Overview of the Necromancer

  • The Necromancer can make use of any nearby bodies or bones in his inventory to summon Thralls and Skeletons.
  • The Necromancer can wear Cloth, Light and Medium Armor.
  • The Necromancer's Main weapons are Conjuration Spells and Staves.
  • The Necromancer can possess any enemy in a fight (except Dragons), making him immune to damage until that target dies, when the target dies it transforms into a Thrall or a Skeleton.
  • The Necromancer can transform into a Shade when low on Health.

If any of the 3 classes that you've chosen can wear any armor and you have one or two classes that have armor restrictions then you will be able to wear any armor.

 

Illusion, Destruction, Restoration, Alteration, One-Handed, Two-Handed, Archery, Block, Sneak will all have a minimum of 2 classes and a maximum of 4 classes each.

What am I doing in this project?

 

I'm designing the classes, the spells and perks of each class, I am also scripting and testing each change..

 

What does the project need?

  • New models for monsters, armors, mainly this, artists.
  • New ideas and constructive discussions about future implementations, input from a 3rd party.
  • Someone who can make new flash menus.
  • Another experienced scripter.

Preview of a dungeon clear with the Battlemage class. This class is finalized.

 

Rogue Power : Become completely undetectable, cooldown 10s.

Archer Power : Slow time while aiming.

Warrior Power : Gain 3 Health and Stamina per attack blocked, gain weapon damage based off your Health and Stamina, weapon damage returns to normal when changing aspects, health and stamina gain returns to normal when the aspect is changed.

Berserker Power : Gain 15% more weapon damage per weapon swing to a maximum of 300%. Resets on first weapon swing after changing aspect.

Improved Visuals, Sounds, class values, powers and script speed and efficiency,

 

Warrior Power changed to : Gain 3 Health and Stamina per attack blocked, upon changing to this aspect, only your next weapon swing will deal 200% more damage. Resets after changing aspects. <- Rewards cycling through all of the aspects.

Berserker Power changed to : Enrage mechanic; Getting hit increases weapon damage by 50%, getting hit consecutively increases the damage and. Power Attacks throw around enemies like paper.

Rogue changes : Sneak attacks with one handed weapons deal 200% more damage.

Archer changes : After shooting an arrow you gain 50% increased movement speed for 2 seconds.

The Summoner class can place runes which explode when enemies come near them, summoning various monsters and applying certain crowd control effects which have a relevant effect to the nature of the summon.

 

Frost : Freezes nearby enemies.

Shock : Paralyzes nearby enemies.

Fire : Knocks back nearby enemies.

Daedra : Fears nearby enemies.

 

If you already have a Frost summon out, then when an enemy triggers a Frost Rune no Frost Atronach will be conjured, instead only the crowd control effect will be applied, the same rule applies for absolutely all runes. Rune explosions deal damage over-time or instantly with the exception of the Daedra Rune which deals no damage. You can trigger your own runes by shooting any spell at them except runes.

 

The Summoner can only have a maximum of 4 runes out and only 3 summons of different types out at the same time.

Battlemage changes:
Warrior Power changed to : Gain 5% resistance to any type of damage (stacking up to 50%) upon blocking any physical attacks, upon changing to this aspect, only your next weapon swing will deal 200% more damage. Bonuses reset when changing aspects(excepting weapon swing buff).

Link to download alpha version of the conjuration tree.

You need these 2 utilities to make it work properly : ConsoleUtil, GrimyPlugin. It also requires a new save or you might experience periods of slow movement speed randomly.

 

Lots of things changed, visuals, sounds, spells and effects, you can preview them yourself by installing and making a new save or in a video soon.
