So, as we don't want to be sued or shut down, we cannot allow mods with copyrighted music.

I'm just saying, despite this, there seems to be a lot of copyrighted music on the radio stations, and I've only seen 2 being taken down, one of which was because it played really new music.

Anyways, if anybody wants to know the current setlists for the stations, PM me, so the evil Music Companies wont be able to see what songs I'm using.

But, can we please stop talking about copyright, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I want to know what you guys want from this mod. (any song suggestions, please PM me, again so the evil music companies wont see. )

Update (even though nobody cares)

I've written the banter for two of the stations already. I have the tracklist completely selected for all the stations except NCR Swing. I would appreciate some song suggestions for this station.

Also, I canceled Legion Radio. I wasn't feeling it really. Now, I have two ideas for stations to replace, and I want you guys to to tell me which you would prefer: A 50's-60's Rhythm and Blues station, or a Psychedelic Pop station. Feel free to comment.

As well, another feature I wish to add is when you complete the Radio Stations quest, they give you a key that unlocks a specific supply cache. Each cache will contain things like food, chems, ammo, and unique weapons or armor.

Pssssst...those mods you linked...use public domain music...

Wait, 9 inch nails are Public domain? 80's Psychobilly is public domain? I'm pretty for it to be public domain, the creator has to be dead for 70 years.

For the Nine Inch Nails, in the description - "Ghosts I-IV is not public domain-it's Creative Commons (specifically Share-Alike, Attribution and Non-Commercial, I believe)." - So it means he can use it.

And did you not see that HUGE post they did to the main page of the NVNexus site? The one that spoke out hugely about not using copyrighted material? And again, as bben46 pointed out, "as we don't want to be sued or shut down, we cannot allow mods with copyrighted music."

Pretty much, you're talking about breaking the law, and that's not good.

Okay, maybe the Nine Inch Nails album is okay, but I'm pretty sure there's still Copyright on Bing Crosby, Bobby Darin, The Ink Spots, Bill Haley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Benny Goodman, Dick Dale ect. And I defiantly know The Reverend Horton Heat, and The Cramps are Copyright protected.

The "pretty sure" ones, as mentioned in the mods, were gotten from places like archive.org and places like that. So only one of those mods you mentioned MIGHT be illegal, and even then it might not be, depending on whether the person got A.) the artist's permission, or B.) common use/public domain tracks.

However, you flat out admitted that what you would be using would be stuff you purchased, which is simply illegal. Do your research into the mods. As it sits, only one might be suspect, and even then it's highly unlikely.

Radio Free wasteland Violates copyright. Most of the musicians on it are still alive, and like I said, some tracks are rather new.

But, would I be allowed to host it on a public File-Hosting, and post the link here, or is that not allowed?

Edit: Also, could somebody link me to a Public Domain music listing site?
