fixing a problem

i need to know how to do anything and everything with eyes like how to open them to edit them. i try to but it says .dds file unknown search the internet for a program to open this with? but i cant cuz my computer is not hooked up the net just the family one. the eyes im using go all wierd and black with bits of the eye in the eye socket. what did i do wrong?

I'm not sure what you did wrong, but in order to open .dds files you will need a 2d image editing software such as Photoshop (not free), Paint Shop (not free either) or The Gimp (free) and the necessary .dds (I think it stands for direct draw surface) plug-ins.

 

But I am sure that your problem lies alsewhere, and not in the texture files.

What colour combinations were you looking for. I beleive Ren's Mystic Elves have a few sets of these including glowing ones with different colours. Some of the eye packs may include this too.

 

Edit: Just found your request topic. I'm sure this wouldn't be too hard to do with the right permissions.

im looking for blue+green combo but i tried putting rens eyes into the other races. thats what i ment earlier about the eyes going all weird. if someone can tell me how to put pics up in this thread ill show you what happens.

 

EDIT-i found a comment left by ren him/her self it sez the eyes he/she used are a differint texture than the vannila eyes so they cant be interchanged. so now i need a talented modder to help me do this.
