Sanduleak
Problem's on VANILLA Oblivion. When I move near or far from a surface, they will brighten and darken as I pass by them, and it's a real problem. I have a youtube video up, but I can't seem to link it. This is happening on a vanilla oblivion with nothing but the official oblivion update from the website. I did a fresh install after I noticed this was happening on my modded oblivion. I probably edited my .ini in my previously modded version, but I deleted all of that so the .ini should be brand new. After all, it was a clean install. I'm reinstalling my nvidia drivers now (GTX 460). Changing the graphic options in-game (And I'm making sure to use the saveini command so that they don't reset or anything) does not change/fix the problem. Updating drivers have not helped either. What's the problem here? Can anyone help? If you type in youtube in the address bar and add "watch?v=8g3AqlaK53I&feature=youtube_gdata" at the end after a slash, you'll find the video that shows the problem I'm having - I put it up myself just a minute ago. wollam11
I'm having the same thing happen, but I don't really look at it like it's a problem. I've got more serious stuff (meshes) going on ...
Hickory
I probably edited my .ini in my previously modded version, but I deleted all of that so the .ini should be brand new. Not good enough. Delete your oblivion.ini completely, and the run the game from OblivionLauncher.exe and reset any options in there, so that your hardware gets reinitialised. Since it's a clean install, I will not point you to the default Oblivion shaders.
