Request; implementing mags

Recommended Posts

I've always thought there was one down fall to every FPS I've ever played. It's just un realistic to be able to reload every five seconds of squeezing off a couple of rounds. (doesn't stop me^ from doing it)

I like the though of having to keep count of every bullet you waste against how many mags you have left. And having to reload after every fire fight. And occasionally going "oh $¥£€" when you forget.

Does anyone know how one would even begin to do this? Is it even doable? Thanks for reading ^_^

This can be done, and I am working on it. When it is complete enough to do so, I am going to release a public alpha (please note the differences between alpha stage and beta stage: Alpha Stage means it's not fully featured - a "demo" if you will. Beta means it's "complete", but still being tested and/or debugged.).

I apologize for how long this has taken me, and I have been working on this for almost three years. To all of you out there who are still interested in this mod, please stay tuned and keep watch over this topic, because I am going to need some help with testing.

Shortcut possibility- low tech:

Each weapon has an ammo count of 1, and each projectile uses .xx in accordance to standard count.

ie. if a weapon has 5 rounds, each shot takes .2 off the "mag"

all it needs is renaming and re-assigning models.

The problem is if the .2 number is possible in teh GECK

Do not bump topics
Bumping is posting in a thread to simply "bump" it back to the top of the forum listings with no additional or useful content.
