Thandal
If you're talking about the Nexus Mod Manager (NMM), it doesn't support PoE. It only works with (and therefore only detects) these specific games:Dark Souls/DS2Dragon Age/DA2Legend of GrimrockMorrowindFallout 3/FO:NVOblivionSkyrimStarboundState of DecayTES OnlineThe Witcher 2/TW3War ThunderWorld of TanksX Rebirth Right now, that's it! Deleted1275719User
How come the Nexus list of mods isn't supported by Nexus Manager? It should be one and the same. I can get a list of mods to download in many places but came here solely because of the manager to download them with. DoctorKaizeld
the manager is only compatible with so many games. they constantly add more games to the list but it takes a lot of time to do so.
bben46
There is a lot more to adding a mod to a mod manager than just adding it to a list. Most games have a different structure, meaning what works for one game may not work for adding mods to a different game. Some games are probably not suited for the mod manager at all. The devs work on games based on some criteria, and one of those is how popular modding for that specific game is - if only a few mods are showing up, The game with hundreds will get a higher priority. Nexus was here a long time before any mod managers were available at all. And we had to install all mods manually. So, the mods came first. Then eventually, after about 11 years, a mod manager to help with installing those mods is being developed. It is still in beta - If you don't know, that means it is being tested. But we are allowing anyone who wants to participate in that testing. There will be bugs ( as so many seem to have forgotten in their haste to condemn Nexus for making a change they don't approve of.) Please, PLEASE! read the documentation first.
