dubiousintent
Which version of the game (EU or EW)? Which platform (Windows, Mac (OS/X, and from which source), or Linux)? Did you have the game working correctly prior to installing the mod? Are you getting any Windows error messages? (If so see "Troubleshooting Basics" and give us a screenshot or the essentials of that error message.) Have you followed all the "Basic Guide to installing mods" prep steps, such as moving it out of "C:\Program Files", "enabling INI Loading", and "disabling Hash checks"? Do you have any other mods (please list) installed? Which "in game" options do you have enabled (i.e. Training Roulette, etc.) -Dubious- Edited September 17, 2015 by dubiousintent
DoctorKaizeld
Which version of the game (EU or EW)?EW Which platform (Windows, Mac (OS/X, and from which source), or Linux)?Windows 8 Did you have the game working correctly prior to installing the mod?yeah it worked fine prior to adding the mod. Are you getting any Windows error messages? (If so see "Troubleshooting Basics" and give us a screenshot or the essentials of that error message.)it just says it stopped working and closed to desktop. Have you followed all the "Basic Guide to installing mods" prep steps, such as moving it out of "C:\Program Files", "enabling INI Loading", and "disabling Hash checks"?i didnt do the enable ini loading... i kinda got confused by the guide on what to do for that. the rest i did with the patcher GUI Do you have any other mods (please list) installed?no other then what i stated above no other mods are installed. Which "in game" options do you have enabled (i.e. Training Roulette, etc.)i havent been able to play at all after the mod was installed... so not sure. dubiousintent
As you are using PatcherGUI, "enabling INI Loading" is as simple as enabling the option once under "Options" in it's menu. Assuming you do not have the Steam folder under "C:\Program Files", I don't see anything else obvious. "Hash checking" does not apply to EW, so it isn't that, and you disabled "phoning home". You should have an "Application Error" in the "Windows Event Viewer" (Google it) whenever the game stops working. If it's (as I suspect) an "Access Violation" error with Win8.1, then you may be encountering a DEP problem. In which case, take a look at the article on "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" where it talks about "Windows 8.1 and later with Secure Boot". -Dubious-
