blockhead54p
Hiya I am playing through XCOM EW LW with my son and love it, but I would like to remove Fatigue and wounding entirely as my son likes to play with the same squad and watch them get promotions, plus it's pretty hard for kids generally. I have already found the defaultgamecore.ini setting to change the chance of fatigue from 100% and adjusted it to 0 but it has no effect in-game.RAND_DAYS_INJURED_TANK Does the steam version not use the defaultgamecore.ini at all? Thanks for any help. Edited September 18, 2015 by blockhead54p
Dethraker
There are certain things inside the DGC.ini that require a new game to take effect. I haven't adjusted fatigue myself, but I'm not sure if it can be completely removed with just an ini tweak, it says 0 should remove most fatigue except in some situations...? As far as injuries go, the two options above that one:BASE_DAYS_INJURED = 1320RAND_DAYS_INJURED = 2745 are the values you need to adjust for that, I believe adjusting the first(BASE_DAYS_INJURED) to 0 should do it, but I'm not completely certain how RAND_DAYS_INJURED works exactly. blockhead54p
Thanks a bunch Dethraker. I will try those settings.Do you think they will only work for a new game? Or function for a save game and stop new soldiers getting injured?
Dethraker
I'm honestly not sure, try with your save and if it doesn't work you'll just have to start a new game.
tracktwo
Most of those things will start applying as soon as you make the change, but it won't affect soldiers who are already wounded, just anyone who gets hit from now on.
blockhead54p
I've tested this with a new game, the soldiers still get fatigued and wounded, but no numbers appear next their row suggesting how long it will take. after progressing time, they return to service immediately! Thanks a bunch!
