Open the geck find the anger armor and in the Biped Object list in the middle unmark Hair and save. Let us know if that helped. Good luck,GeoffThanks for the reply, I did as you asked and can confirm that hair does appear inside the hood. Fortunately my character wears a buzz cut and it doesn't clip through the hood, but I'm concerned that if I give it to a character with spiked hair or women, it'll clip through. EDIT - I was going to seperate the hoods from the up and down versions but the collar area is so vastly different it wouldn't look right. I was going to have the hood down as an armor addon so when you unequiped the up hood which was going to be a seperate head armor piece, the down hood would auto equip and take up like the nose ring spot so you could equip all kinds of headgear. And have the Up hood take the hair slot so you wouldn't have hair clip issues. I did this recently for a custom armor for myself so can't release it unless the authors say I can. I can still seperate the up hood and make it it's own armor piece but when you unequip it you'll have a raised collar around the neck like there should be a hood with it. I could also make it an armor addon itself and the only way to unequip it would be to equip something else in that addon slot which I think would be better honestly. EDIT #2 - Also the face mask being a seperate piece you can adjust that in nifskope. Open the mask up in nifskope, right click on the mask go to transform > Edit and use the Z coordinate hit the up arrow once that should be enough of a boost upward. And for the hood peak being lowered easily done but it could cause texture stretching. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RynDrecker Posted September 24, 2015 Author Share Posted September 24, 2015 (edited) I'm not really all concerned about the hood functions in and of itself, what I was imagining was that the hood peaking farther downwards would eliminate the view of the upper forehead, and thus the hair, altogether. The texture stretching is a non-issue (unless it would look eye-gratingly obvious). The hood down version looks perfectly acceptable to me, it was just an eyesore when I put the hooded version on Veronica or Boone and they ended up with a cue ball for a head.On the topic of the mask, it's build in such a way that the ending at the bottom is flared and pronounced to make it seem like it's touching the collarbone. It looks pretty weird and on NPC's it makes their jaw clip in and out of the sides when they talk.EDIT 1: Spelling and grammar.
