Hey there new to modding or even installing mods to fallout nv just wondering if anyone could chuck us a mod list (preferably with a ton of mods) that is stable as possible as I cant even load the game after installing a bunch of mods and have no idea where to start when ordering. I just wanna play the game again with a totally new experience, graphics etc without spending ten hours ordering a couple hundred mods or whatever. any help would be greatly appreciated!

TIME TO BOAST YOUR HUGE MOD LOAD ORDERS!!! :P and at a slight bonus to me and others *cough* *cough* lol

Rather than copying someone elses mod list you should read some of the many guides on modding skyrim properly and watch some of the many youtube videos. Gamer Poets and Gopher come to mind. And the STEP pages.

Also the mods you choose are largely dependent on how YOU wanna play the game, personal taste, as well as your system specs.

Do you want better gameplay? Realism/immersion? Visuals?

Decide how you wanna play and base your mods off of that. Stick to updated popular mods to avoid issues.

While on YouTube, look up MysteryMachineX and watch some of his videos, and he has a link to a list in his videos for what mods he uses. I am, currently, using some of his list, some of Cal from Dirty Weasel Media's list, some from even Gopher's list, as well as my own list. Right now, I have about 50 mods in my game, but I would have closer to 75 mods if I hadn't merged a few mods together. Merging mods is not for everyone, but it is a good way to reduce your mod load down. For this, you will need a few things. I recommend a good mod manager, FOMM is good, and so is Mod Organizer. (I personally use Mod Organizer, as it is a really good program, and really good at keeping my main Data folder clean, and using other folders to keep my mod list organized.) You will want Loot, FNVEdit, and Merge Plugins xEdit Script. I will recommend watching a couple videos, and even reading a bit before doing any merges. However, this is not like a merged patch, or a Bash patch, like Gopher and Cal prefer. These are actual merged mods, and in Mod Organizer, you can disable the .esp's that are included in the merged mod. For example, I download say Gopher's Armors, and want to merge them all together. So, what I do is go to Mod Organizer, after downloading them into Mod Organizer in the first place, install those mods to the same folder, basically, then merge them. Here is the steps to merge. Go into FNVEdit, choose only the mods you want to merge. Then when FNVEdit is done loading them in, right click on the bottom most .esp, then Apply Script. With the Merge Plugin v 1.9 (This is the one you want to download, link provided at the end,) I let it do it's thing, then close out FNVEdit when it's done. You should have a window pop up like you started, but only with the merged mod you have in it, then click okay. If there isn't just the one file, you need to go back and do it a slightly different way. After this, it will be in your Override folder, in Mod Organizer, at the bottom. Move the .esp to where you have your original mods, then right click that set, then go to Information, then the Optional ESP's tab. From there, move up to the Optional part all the esp's you merged into one. Deactivate it on the left side, then reactivate it. And you should be good to go from there. I know I wrote a lot, but if you have questions, ask, please. I will try to help out.

Before I go, Loot will help you clean up some things. Read carefully, and be careful. Have fun, and enjoy.
