theblackshadow
Wah, when you begin in geck there will be three windows. When you look at the top to the far left you see the "File" tab. Under it is a bar with little icons. The second icon from the right is of a little open folder. Click that Icon. When It opens you will see all of you mods and there names. Next to the names there are little boxes with or without an "X" in them. Clicking the boxes with the "X" in them will uncheck them. Only check the "FalloutNV.esm" flie and the mod willow is from, now, click okay. Give it a few moments to load the files. Once they are loaded click the little icon of a floppy disk, this is the icon next to the folder icon you used to select your files. This is the save button, name your save. WillowWeapEdit. Now in the filter type the name "Willow" It should bring up a result. This will be the NPC of willow. Click it once, right click and click edit. Now a new window will come up In this window there will be a tab named "Inventory" Click it. All of the items willow has in her inventory will appear here. Find here weapons, and double click it. A new window will come up. It will be here weapon. You should see the damage box, change the damage to one, click ok and the box will close. Click okay on the willow npc box, it should close. Then click the save button once more. Congratulations, you have made your first mod! Edited September 24, 2015 by theblackshadow

JimboUK
So I downloaded the GECK and found the NVWillow.esp, but when I press ok it says that they were multiple master files selected for load, do I need to uncheck everything else and just keep Williow checked? I have no idea what I'm doing to be honest *-* That sounds like the esp has the master flag set, that's common with companions, it's stops a bug where the head and body textures don't match. You need to remove the master flag or the Geck won't save anything you do. Load up the mod in FNVEdit, expand the plus next to the mod, highlight File Header, on the right side pane right click on record flags and select edit, a warning box will pop up, OK that and then uncheck ESM in the next box that pops up, close that box, close FNVEdit saving when prompted, job done, you can now edit and save in the Geck. When you've finished editing use the same process to enable the master flag again. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2830/12880897234_cb8c618bd5_o.jpg

WahWahWahh
So I made it to her inventory but I can only find one weapon which is a 9mm pistol, is that the only weapon she carries or did I miss one?
WahWahWahh
Also now that I've finished, is the change immediately active or do I need to do something else now to activate it?
theblackshadow
In order for it to take effect you need to check the little box next to the mods name in the data files section of the fallout launcher.
