kiramarsh21
I'm running New Vegas on a fairly good computer (Specs:http://oi57.tinypic.com/2h69jyu.jpg ) but I keep having stuttering and crashing problems. SirTwist
Is this Kira from the Super Modded Fallout New Vegas videos? If so, you are awesome. If not, I apologize. (If it is you, this is PoeticTwist that comments on the videos.) Aside from what I said, I am looking at your load order. And that is a mess. I recommend three things, LOOT, New Vegas Stutter Remover and New Vegas Anti-crash. Those should help. I am hoping you are also running NVSE, the 4gb, updated, loader, and Lutana's stuff for NVSE? Links:Loot: https://loot.github.io/NVSR: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34832/?NVAC: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/53635/? Those should help, some. If you use Mod Organizer, then check out both Gopher and Dirty Weasel Media on youtube for their videos about New Vegas and Mod Organizer.

If you use Mod Organizer, then check out both Gopher and Dirty Weasel Media on youtube for their videos about New Vegas and Mod Organizer. Yes that is me! Thank you for all your comments and for supporting the series, it means a lot to me and I'm sure Kyle too. That load order was actually what LOOT came up with. I didn't manually adjust it at all. I also have recently just installed anti-crash and already have stutter remover installed. I'm wondering if there's a specific mod I have that's messing up my framerates. I should be able to run the game easily at 40 at least but it's usually sticking around 30. I guess my computer isn't good enough to run it at 60? I'm honestly confused because I had a laptop that was absolute crap for gaming running it at 40. (with low graphics I think) The machine I'm running it on now has better specs so I thought I'd be able to run it at 60. I've made some adjustments to my load order and then ran it through LOOT again so here it is: FalloutNV.esmDeadMoney.esmHonestHearts.esmOldWorldBlues.esmLonesomeRoad.esmGunRunnersArsenal.esmClassicPack.esmMercenaryPack.esmTribalPack.esmCaravanPack.esmoHUD.esmInterior Lighting Overhaul - Core.esmLucky38Suite_Reloaded.esmProject Nevada - Core.esmIWR.esmXRE - CARS!.esmSomeguySeries.esmProject Nevada - Equipment.esmAAAGG.espMoonQuest.esmNiner.esmProject Nevada - Rebalance.espVault-HQ1_NV.esmPip-Phone.esmNVWillow.espNVR-Strip.esmRavens Nest.espChildren of the Wasteland.esmMikotoBeauty.esmLutana CotW Expansion.esmProject Nevada - Cyberware.espProject Nevada - Extra Options.esmVanessaFollowerNV.esmMore Traits.esmMore Perks.esmCASM with MCM.espProject Nevada - Cyberware Additions.esptyfasterwalk.espILO - NVWillow.espJIP Companions Command & Control.espPerkEveryLevel.espNVR-Version_10.espInterior Lighting Overhaul - Ultimate Edition.espNVR-NPCs.espDriveThemCars0.023.espBrighterPipboyLight+.espNights are Darker - Ultimate Edition.espPersonalized Messages Sneak Addon.espPersonalized Messages.espProject Nevada - Rebalance Complete.espProject Nevada - All DLC.espaLB.espReadius_NV.espShilohDS-Color Maps and Icons.espThe Mod Configuration Menu.espUnlimitedTraits.espXRE - CARS!.espMikotoBeauty.espMore Perks Update.esp50sFFFLVJOD-Freeside.espCourier 6 Goodsprings Compound.espdelilah.espDoctorsTakeTimeToHeal.espTheInheritance.espCourier 6 Novac Compound.espJoanaCompanion.esp1nivVSLArmors.esp1nivPNSLPatch.espRussell.espIWR - Rebuilt.espEmilyCompanion.espCCO - Ulysses Companion.espUltimate Companion Overhaul - New Vegas.espThe Storyteller.espCanteen.espKaya47NordicBags.espMore Traits Update.espThe Professional_NV.espTommy.espFiveNightsAtVault5.espKobu's New Game Quick Start and Better Rebuild.espLuxury Hideout.esp1nivVSLArmors Cheat.espCAGE 1.9.3.2.espThe Groovatron NV.espUHNV.espsjs_whiteglovemasks.espDynamic Quantity Prompt.esptheDudeAbidesNV.espGlovesGalore.espGlovesGalore_DeadMoney.espaaaJNFCamp.espOdiossModWornBackpack.espaaaJNFCamp3.espCompanionPipBoy.espCorrosionDress.espNeckchains.espbzArmour.espdistributed_necklaces_and_chains_neck_seam_concealer.esp If there are any specific changes you think I should make to it let me know. SirTwist
The .esp's should be after the .esm's. That can cause issues. If you use Mod Organizer, it's easy to fix. Just move each .esp below the last .esm. Might want to lock the load order. I hate how Loot tries to move stuff around. I now know not to rely on it for everything. I am constantly looking, thinking, and debating for mods. I'm already having to rebuild at least one of my merged mods. I may have to rebuild a couple. And I still have a lot of mods to look at, try out, etc. I think what I will do next, is body/armor mods, build a merged with that, then play a little, checking things out. I think the NMC thing I should have licked now. I will double check soon. I have one profile I am merging all the mods on, in Mod Organizer. The other profile will be a copy, and change name, to actually play the game. AMD/ATI cards are good, but the software is not great. Try changing from performance, in Catalyst, to quality. That might help a little. In the game launcher, set it to medium. That may help with the FPS. If you still have problems, let me know. The drivers for the AMD/ATI are fairly stable, though. Nvidia cards are good, and they have great software. However, they do put out drivers more than necessary, in my opinion. But they are also trying to cover for a lot of stuff. One last note, before the next video, have Kyle take a look at the skills, see which ones can be maxed out soon. Put a majority of points into one of those. Put maybe one point into Explosives or Sneak. Not more than that, right now. The perks, is really up to you two. But something fun.

Here's my mod list: This isn't always the case with esp's that have been edited in FNVEdit to have the ESM tagged making it a master and placing it in the esm order. It does not change the file extension to esm it remains esp, which can be frustrating at times if it's not mentioned in the readme or mod page. My advice is to check the mod pages and read the readme's for your larger mods and to examine the details of a mod in your mod manager. I would suggest fixing the vanilla DLC load order to FalloutNVCaravanClassicTribalMercDeadHonestOldLonesomeGunRunners That is the actual release order. I forget where but there was something about this, it's been like a year >< Good luck,Geoff EDIT - I noticed you are using atleast one mod I know to be a beta that mentions there are bugs not details as to what maybe check the FO3 version page. the Ultimate Companion Overhaul

The DLC's with quests, equipment, things like that, go first, then the ones with just equipment last. I am, though, fairly confident in videos, and Loot for just the DLC's. However, I don't just rely on loot for everything. I am still working on my mods, so I may have a great number of mods, and then merge them down. I am going to take a look at a few mods before I commit to them. Before I use Ultimate Companion Overhaul, I'll read up on it.
