Issue with wrist/ankle seams.

So, Prior to the NMM my mods were working well enough and things were smooth.

I use CBBE Curvy, with the included face texture for women and Better Males Favored Soul Flaccid with the Younger Faces for men.

I didn't have any issues with hands/feet seams, but the update seemingly broke a lot of things, even though I didn't appear to have the forever time, or any errors.

Since then I've uninstalled (through the right click) and reinstalled all my mods AND started a new game... but for some reason Males and Females alike both have a really noticeable wrist and ankle seam. Which is just odd, seeing as I'm not mix-matching things and I'm not sure what to do about it. My neck seams is hardly noticeable.. it's just the wrist and ankles. Any thoughts?

Oh and I tried to use the CBBE texture blender for the women. No luck there, same seam.

Hmm Your best bet is to uninstall all your body/texture mods and try again heres a tutorial on how to get things running smoothly, I'd recommend doing this

after a clean install but if you dont want to start again just make sure to get every mesh and texture file and start from scratch.

  • Install CBBE body -----> (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2666/?) Use Nexus mod manager
  • Install fair skin textures (Optional) -------> (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51602/?) Use Nexus mod manager
  • Install HDT Physics (Optional) --------> (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53996/?) Just open the rar and drag and drop the Skse folder into your data folder
  • Install XP32 Skeleton --------> (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800/?) Always a good thing to install, Use Nexus mod manager, just click next dont change any options
  • Download body slide 2 -------> (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49015/?)
  • Open bodyslide 2 which will be located at -------> (Skyrim\Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide)
  • At the top there will be a "Outfit/body" tab Choose "CBBE body HDT" if you want HDT physics or just leave it on default (Though why wouldnt you want a little jiggle  )
  • Press preview at the bottom and a new box with the body will be inside, adjust the sliders to get your body type left side for low weight, right side for high weight, DONT adjust the ankle size leave it at 100 or you'll get an ankle seam
  • When you have your body Hold CTRL and click Build 2 files will be created in the Bodyslide folder Drag and drop these to (Skyrim\Data\Meshes\actors\character\character assets)

That should be it, go into your game and you should have a body with no seams and if you did the HDT part breast and bottom physics if by chance the neck and wrist textures have seams

do the following

  • Download Caliente Texture Blender --------> (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5737/?) Open the rar and open textblend.exe
  • At the top left it will have a tab called Set Choose body and Feet, and in the Type tab choose Color
  • In the large box several options will appear highlight CBBEv3_2_Bodyneckblend.png then click the Blend images button
  • Go to type again and choose normal Do the same here, then choose Type then specular and do the same again with this the neck seam will be gone
  • Do exactly the same as the previous steps but instead of choosing CBBEv3_2_Bodyneckblend.png Choose CBBEv3_2_BodyWristAnkleblend.png

After this there should be no seams on your character at all, If you still have seam problems odds are you haven't fully uninstalled every texture and mesh

before doing the above, just uninstalling from the mod manager doesnt always completely remove everything, so longs as one texture file remains it can

mess up everything, normally its best to know what body you want during a clean install and sticking to it since changing down the line can be a pain.

hope this helps, some screenies below
