Using modder's resources (in your F:NV mod)

So too start things off, I'm new to modding F:NV obviously and a bit of help would be much appreciated. I'm not much of a gamer, but I do have a soft spot for the fallout games and always wanted to make a mod, so I started on one about a month ago and things are going great except one thing. I'm completely stuck on how to incorporate other people's mods/ resources into my own mod in one file. For example, I'm trying to use an armor mod in my mod but can't figure out how to actually put the file in my mod. I'm able to activate the files I need, give to the NPCs in the GECK but when starting the game, they apear without It. I'm sure this is a super simple fix but after scouring the Internet, I can't find help anywhere.

Help is much appreciated!

It sounds like you're having your esp rely on another esp, that works fine in the GECK but the game itself doesn't like it. You'll need to recreate the armour in your mod, don't bother loading the other one up. It's easy to do, find an existing armour, open it's properties, change the ID, select the model for the new armour, select the body slot, set the various values, give it a name, hit OK, you'll be asked if you want to create a new form, hit yes and you now have a new armour.
