PhoenixKid56
I installed NMM to the latest version (0.60.13) and I know I installed Fallout 3 correctly, but when I try to download a mod through NMM, all I get is a error saying "NMM is not set up to work with Fallout 3" and other crap, but I took a screenshot to show the full message box. I have no clue what to do, can someone help me on this? iXenite
Maybe try rescanning your games? Also, where have you installed your game? ProgramFilesx86 maybe? Perhaps Windows' UAC is messing you up. Also, make sure NMM is set up to handle NXM links (the download with manager button). If all else fails, you could just make a folder called "Fallout 3 Mods" and "manually" (you can put it anywhere you want, I'd suggest your Games folder) download all of the mods you want and put them in that folder. Then, go to NMM and click that green plus symbol to add your mods from the folder you made. This should work without fail. Also, consider using a different browser. I had trouble using Firefox when I started using Mod Organizer, and had to switch to Chrome. I know you're using Chrome, so it's not too likely you're having browser issues, but it's worth a try right? And it still failed as i tried internet explorer, so best bet is to download all of them manually? Edited October 11, 2015 by PhoenixKid56
iXenite
My bad. Shouldn't have use the abbreviation. It means "User Account Control". It just means that Windows will "protect" certain things from being modified. So, if you've installed Skyrim in ProgramFilsx86, then unless you run NMM as Administrator it may give you problems. Which is why it's always best to install anything to do with your games under your Games folder, or somewhere other than ProgramFilesx86. I'd try to download them manually like I said in my last post. If anything, it may make the process of getting mods into NMM a bit easier, and keeps the archives of every mod you have on your PC in the event you need them for something.
