silven88
I've been trying to research this and haven't been able to find anything on the subject. We all know the DISPLAYED armor cap for the PC is 567, because every piece of armor worn increases your armor rating by a hidden 25 for each piece. ( http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Armor ) My question is whether or not NPC's also benefit from this hidden bonus.Attempting to use console command "getav damageresist" is fruitless, as using that on the PC will still only show the same value as your displayed armor rating in-menu.I'm trying to find the answer to this because I'm planning on increasing the armor rating of all NPC's (creatures, undead, wildlife included) via the Deadly Monsters add-on provided by Deadly Dragons to make Armor-Nullifying perks more useful. Knowing whether or not armor-wearing NPC's benefit from this hidden value will help me to keep things balanced and use balanced numbers. Thanks!
