TiKanis69
Hello everyone!Ill cut to the chase, im buying a new PC because my laptop completely s#*! itself and just refuses to start up, despite my efforts i cant get it to work. Hence my interest on buying a new PC. So basically i want a PC that will support New Vegas properly with quite a few mods. I was going to build over buy a pre made PC but read somewhere that you may as well just buy pre built, and im pretty stupid when it comes to building so i didnt want to have to pay someone to build it for me. But some pages said it was cheaper to build? So i thought what better place to ask this question than the NV forums! If I buy pre built, what should i get?if I buy parts, what parts should i get? and what website?I dont want to spend too much i want to spend roughly about $700-$1200 AUS. Non of that $3000 alienwere bullshit lol Any replies would be much appreciated :)(So sick of playing this game on my brothers laptop, with like 10-15 fps)
ironbender800
I would go the build your own route. Pre built computers often come with junk power supplys, bloatware, and crappy motherboards. Building one isnt hard at all. TONS of videos out there on how to do it. When you build your own you get to choose exactly what goes in and can make it exactly how you want. As far as picking parts and getting best prices use PC part picker. Personally if on a budget i would go like 8320 amd processor and put majority of money into a strong top tier GPU like a 970 or amd equivalent such as a 380/390. Choose a quality power supply and id also go with 16gb of ram. Will cost around 1000 USD and will destroy any game you wanna play.
