TheFatManIsMyBaby Posted October 14, 2015 Share Posted October 14, 2015 ...what the heck. I'm having crashes whenever I get in range of seeing the Serpent's Stone undiscovered map marker. I have tried console commands coc blahblahblah. I find it super immersion breaking to use console commands... So I thought I'd post here to see if anyone had experienced these crashes. I hardly ever go to the northern areas of skyrim especially the Winterhold area I just completed the College of Winterhold main quest becoming the Arch-Mage blahblahblah I was thinking to myself I needed some new followers I've had Issac in my mod list but never really used him so I went and activated all the stuff for him (Knight of Thorns armor and Spear of Thorns) which is why I need to go there.. I crashed. uninstalled KoT and reentered. crashed again! I had remembered A Matter of Time used to cause me some crashing so I tried that.. still crashed.. I have a save just at the edge of the perimeter of which I crash and I can't even load the save... it sucks. whats causing this does anyone know? What you use for manipulating load order. mods...blah blah, have a read on bben's idea of what one needs to troubleshoot. this game is REALLY easy to mod, but hard to stablize apparently.
