MaximumBadger
Hey guys, I need to know if I can play Fallout 4 with my rig. I don't care about playing on Ultra or anything, but I need to have a solid framerate. Here are my specs: CPU: Intel® Core i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz RAM: 8.00 GB GFX: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 / 4096 MB Total available graphics memory HDD: 324GB Free (931GB Total) If anyone can give me an estimation of how well or IF I can run it, you'd be a lifesaver. Tony the Wookie
Well... since I haven't yet played Fallout 4 I can't say for sure or anything... You also didn't say what resolution you wanted to play at either, and that can make a big difference on GPU... But according to their minimum specs, you exceed them in all areas, so I would be very surprised if your rig won't play the game on medium settings. No idea about high or ultra though. davoz28
You beat all the minimum specs... I'd say fine on medium and maybe high settings. Extreme/Ultra might not run fluid, but fine otherwise.
MaximumBadger
Ok thanks guys, that eases my mind quite a bit! So I'll assume I'll be fine as long as having a 1920x1080 resolution doesn't change anything!
mark5916
Aware that your GPU doesn't meet the min. req. Also that particular model with the 4GB frame buffer does not benefit this GPU in any way and so that feature is more or less useless. I would say on lower resolutions it may be playable, and thanks to your very fast CPU.
