At the moment I have Francesco's turned on, and haven't yet given OOO a chance. For those who have, which do you think makes the gameplay more realistic? Like pros and cons? Also, which do you think is compatible with your mods?

Just wondering, partly because I've had some problems with textures, aka, distant town walls and various texture patches turn black, but mostly when it's near the middle of my screen, not at the edges...weird.

*EDIT - Dang, didn't do the poll right.

Yup, you messed the pool up! I never used Francesco, so I don't know what the differences are. I'm using OOO at the moment, and I'm enjoying it completly, except the slow leveling part -.-! Good thing it's optional though and I can switch it off.

I thought you could have both at the same time, the meshes and other stuff from OOO and the leveled lists and creatures from francesco's (as well as MMM). I havn't used any of them myself, so am kinda interested in what people's thoughts are.

Francesco's and OOO both have different priorities, so it depends on what you want most. I don't really remember what their priorities were though. I think OOO is more about large amounts of new content.

Or you could use both at the same time with FCOM, previously called '(Cry) FranOOOMMM!'

Using fran and MMM right now, only major complaints I have is...

First, breaking the mod I was working on by breaking the standard skeletons models.

Second, the constant battle music in the wilderness when there's nothing around... It's almost like bandits and such detect you 3 or 4 cells away, and either just stand there, or get caught in the terrain. It's rather annoying especially when trying to track down that one bandit ends up spawning 5 more to track down. I guess the moral is to avoid using MMM despite all the creatures it adds.
