CaptainSpiced
I feel like this should be a simple fix but it seems everything I have done just doesnt seem to work (I have looked through the logging in problems sticky) Tried making all the settings in the 'Internet Options' to accept everything, all cookies, websites etc and ive turned my anti virus + firewall off but I still get the following error message... Forum error The site has run in to a problem, please look at the error message below... Your login cookie hasn't been set properly and won't allow you to be logged in to this site. This is normally due to a browser plugin, browser settings, firewall or anti-virus on your PC blocking the login cookie from being created properly. You will need to fix this issue before you can stay logged in on this site. Im running Windows 7 Professional - 64bit with Bulldog security Someone put me out my misery, its been long overdue that I get FO3 for the Laptop and download/create mods. bben46
Have you cleared your cache? Chrome is especially bad at keeping cashed data around - that's one of the tricks they use to make them look faster. But the other browsers will keep it around for a while also. CaptainSpiced
Tried that already too. Using IE9 I am able to log in on a desktop computer so its definately something to do with this laptop :wallbash:
evilneko
Bulldog security You have a bulldog leashed to your laptop? :teehee: You cleared your cache, but did you also clear the cookies? You didn't say. Also, try another browser. That'll show if it's a browser issue or if some third-party software is interfering.
CaptainSpiced
Cleared the cookies too. It really seems bizarre now that its not working. Ive always wanted to try Google Chrome, think il download it and give it go and see if it fixes the problem.
CaptainSpiced
Well google chrome is a lot faster than IE9 so its speed reputation is actually right. But its still not solved the problem :( Think it might be that Bulldog leashed to the laptop lol...
CaptainSpiced
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! SOLVED!!! I knew it had to be something out of the ordernary or bizarre that would get me... but the problem was my date was wrong on my laptop by a month. How on earth I have never noticed the date being wrong for so long I do not know... and the only reason I found this out was that my girlfriend who knows nothing about computers said that her date was wrong on her log in and said she couldnt change it as she needed to log on as me (admin) Thank god someone didnt give me this problem as a customer what an embarissment. :wallbash:
