NPC remains unmodified with bijin warmaidens

I've installed recently Bijin Warmaidens and I can't get it to modify Lydia or Aela, but it affected normally to all the other characters. I've put all the BW .esp at the botton of the load order. I've checked with TES5Edit if it was conflicting with any mod but there was nothing.

I've reduced it to a Save file issue because if I spawn her in a new game she gets the changes unlike in my main save file. I made a fresh install of Skyrim with only BW and couldn't get it to work either.

I think it might have to do with Amazing Follower Tweaks, as both were already under management of AFT when I installed BW and are the only not showing any changes. Is there a way to check my save file for overrinding variables? I've tried using Skyrim save cleaner but it didn't work. I've tried using the reseting option from AFT and uninstalling it, no results.

I couldn't get to find any info about this anywhere and I don't want to play a new game, this one is already 190h

Try opening the console, selecting the NPC and typing Disable followed by Enable. It could be that, basically, deleting the character and adding them back will fix the issue. You could also try dismissing your follower, leaving the area and then coming back. Maybe that would allow the mod's changes to take effect. Also, make sure that BW is loading after AFT. Good luck! :)

Disable-enable didn't work, tried markfordelete as well and creating a new one (Maybe I have to save and load in between?). I've tried dimissing her, fast traveling, fast traveling back, and nothing. I even tried disabling her, fast traveling and then, enabling her while I'm away.

BW esp's are at the very bottom of the load order, I'll try now the STEP guide to clean my save file.

Thx for the responses however

You may have another mod with resources that is overwriting BW. Not all mods have a plugin file (.esp, .esm) so if you've installed a mod with no plugin after BW that has overwritten changes to Lydia and Aela, it will be causing issues and can be hard to find. Unless, you're using Mod Organizer(MO). If you're using MO, simply double click on the BW file in the left pane and click the conflicts tab, you should see the data of all the mods that BW is overwriting, and any mods that may be overwriting BW. If there are any mods loaded after BW that are overwriting it, simply move the BW mod below the conflicting one in the left pane. Also, if the conflicting mod does have an .esp, be sure to place the BW .esp below the other one otherwise you'll still have issues.

If you're not using MO, I'd recommend re-installing the mod if you haven't already.

Also, you have uninstalled a mod that altered Lydia and Aela during your current play through?

I'm using NMM. I tried a pristine vanilla with only BW intalled, and yet no changes to the face and hair. But it does work in new games. I've never used any Lydia or Aela modifiers until now. My best bet is AFT save data that keep them unchanged as it's the only difference between those affected and those that are not. :S
