kekkev
The only thing I see with the load order is that the RH-FWE Bridge needs to go after the last FO3 Wanderer's Edition plugin. Like I said, you don't have that many mods to be having the problems you are having. I have over 100 files in my load order along with texture replacers that do not show in the load order. And, I have a system that is not as powerful as yours and I run the game on Ultra with no problems. Maybe you should try the Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch. That is what is so frustrating to me. I am running a "bare bone" modded game and it should be alright. And it totally is fine EVERYWHERE else in the game, except combat... which is basically a deal breaker given the nature of this game. I will have give the unofficial patch a shot. I'm also going to try the masterupdate thing from FO3edit. I'll try anything at this point. I completely removed all mods, uninstalled FO3 and started ALL over. I ran over to megaton and shot people for a while and was fine. Then FWE, fine. Then MMM (I slept for 4 days like the page says to in order to let cells reset or whatever), and blackened patch, fine. Then EVE and the blackened patch, FINE. then I throw in darnifed and the darnified FWE compatibility patch and it all goes to s#*!. I really really really am grateful to you for your help by the way. I'm sure there is some dumbass thing I have done somewhere that I am not noticing and its the source of all my problems. I'm thinking for now, as hideous as the vanilla UI is, I will just play with immersive hud in lieu of darnified so that I don't have to see it as often. Before it comes to that I can mess around with darnified individually with FWE then with MMM then with EVE then with FWE + MMM then with FWE + EVE then with MMM + EVE. Or I can try loading it sooner in my load order. I don't know what else to think though! kekkev
Currently checking the darnified page for known issues and troubleshooting guides... verifying the installation of darnified, might even do it manually. I'm not sure how shooting an NPC and the UI are connected but they are somehow- maybe if I cripple someone or something. UPDATE I uninstalled all active mods (FWE, MMM, EVE (and their patches)) EXCEPT for darnified UI. I still got the crash. I was using a save that had the other mods installed, but I saved and re loaded so I thought I'd be ok. Then I loaded back to the Vault exit (a clean save before any mods were involved) and I couldn't replicate the crash. Darnified isn't playing nice with the other mods, but I think it is okay on its own. I'll just play without it I guess. What an absolute nightmare. M48A5
You make no mention of installing the DarNified UI F3 Alpha 1.1 hotfix. It is very unusual for the changes to the UI, if done correctly, would cause your problems. Did you verify that the fonts had been changed? Once you have installed the DarNUI, you should then install the rest of your mods and any patches needed.

Once you have installed the DarNUI, you should then install the rest of your mods and any patches needed. I have been using the hotfix. The font is smaller, but I am not too savvy with font variations, so it could be that the font is the same flavor. I'll compare images somehow to verify my own font. There are messages when I cripple someone's body, and when that pops up in the left, the darn UI info on the right disappears then reappears. The same happens if I get irradiated. The vanilla red bar pops up on the right, and the Darn UI on the right goes away temporarily. This is the only thing that can think of how a UI could interrupt another mod, but I'm shooting the moon here. I have tried installing it at the beginning middle and end stages of mods. Perhaps a manual installation is in order.
kekkev
Okay Starting over yet again, I installed Darnified FIRST (with NMM). I did throw in the updated unofficial FO3 patch like you suggested. I also tossed in some mods for safe measure I added "CASM" because I read it helps with corrupted saves- something I feared was happening despite getting the crash from a new game. Oh and I threw in "One tweak" along with stutter remover nad the NVAC anti crash edited to use FOSE. Then just installed all my regular mods as I normally would have (although I am not using FWE alternate travel or the tougher traders like I had been... so there is that tiny difference) and so far I have not replicated the crash! So to celebrate I added the dynamic cross-hair! I hope I haven't spoken to soon! I would once again like to thank you M48A5, for putting time into giving me helpful feedback and advice. You've been a real help. I will update after more extensive testing, but I think installing darnified very first may have done the trick. (some mods wanted to override things from it, but I think they might have just been ihud and adjustable hud. Shoot... I wish I payed attention to which ones) LOAD ORDER Fallout3.esm=1Anchorage.esm=1ThePitt.esm=1BrokenSteel.esm=1PointLookout.esm=1Zeta.esm=1Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm=1iHUD.esm=1aHUD.esm=1EVE.esm=1CRAFT.esm=1CALIBR.esm=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm=1Mart's Mutant Mod.esm=1DynamicCrosshair.esp=1CASM.esp=1DarNifiedUIF3.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Anchorage.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC The Pitt.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Mothership Zeta.esp=1Blackened FWE + MMM + EVE.esp=1Merged Patch.esp=1 Edited November 5, 2015 by kekkev
kekkev
I don't want to jinx myself, but I think I am ready to say that the crash has ended! Thank you so so so f*#@ing much for your support, advice and time. It might seem stupid, but it means a lot to me.
