goranpaa
I have had this problem for quite a while now. If I turn down footsteps and music + uncheck the crosshair for example? They will be back to the default settings as soon as I start up the game again. :sad:I have not set the Skyrim ini. or the preference.ini to read only. Have even done a fresh installation without any sucess. Please help! Edited October 31, 2015 by goranpaa

HeyYou
according to theory, when you leave one section, to move to another, it's supposed to save the settings. Do you get the "Saving" message at all?

gurleygirl
I have the same problem and can't find where the sound settings are saved. Looked in the skyrimprefs.ini and don't see the settings.
