I have had two characters now who have done the Dark Gift quest in the Dark Brotherhood and i have done what it tell you to do (wait for three days then sleep after being bitten) but i never turn! I have also had one of the characters contract the disease manytimes never cured it waited and such and still didn't turn.can someone help. p.s. i have already looked at the pinned thread on this topic and it didn't help. ninja_lord666 Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 Firstly, you have to wait three days. Secondly, it's quite touchy. If you don't wait just right, it won't work...ever. You have to get it cured and try again. Unfourtunately, it's been close to a year since I had a vampire character, so...I don't know what the proper waiting is, sorry. Redguards have 75%. So it is possible, but more difficult. (If you let Vincente bite you in your sleep the resistance to disease is irrelevant. Even with 100% it'll work!)
