If you apply a morph to your player character, does the Portrait automatically update to match the new appearance, or is there a way to do that? Thank you.

If you apply a morph to your player character, does the Portrait automatically update to match the new appearance, or is there a way to do that? Thank you.

 

The portrait does in fact automagically update if changes are made to the player character (or a companion) morph. (It actually changes even if you don't replace the morph, to show whatever the currently equipped gear is.)

 

The portraits for my Surana Warden and Alistair at the Korcari Wilds and again at the Battle of Denerim (note her different hair and his hair and heavier stubble):
