Bricker515 Posted November 3, 2015 Share Posted November 3, 2015 So i was playing XCOM: Long war mod today and all was well until at some point in the mission when it was the alien's turn, my game crashed, saying XCOM: Enemy within has stopped working on my desktop screen. Upon reading the forums i tried to verify game cache integrity on steam and it did found 36 files that were downloaded, but the game still crashed when i tried to load saves, i also tried going offline mode in steam but still no result.So any ideas on how to get my saves back? dubiousintent Posted November 5, 2015 Share Posted November 5, 2015 Once you verify game files, you have to re-install all mods. The verify process takes the game back to vanilla by restoring files which do not match vanilla on their servers ... which means all your modded files..
