Solution... Get the expansion, there's a new "feature" added that allows you to push back an enemy... The downside is that using the expansion will probably ruin your game and invalidate most of the mods you're using. As to why? Gripping living things looked to be possible at one point, there are even some settings remaining, but it was probably scrapped because it screwed up animations, or proved too difficult to get working right. Either way, can't do it, no matter what.

As for player sounds. Use BSA commander, unpack all the voice files within the voices.bsa (need about 6 gigs free), find all the ones named "generic_Hit" "generic_powerattack" within each of the race folders, rebuild the directory structure within your oblivion data folder, move all those files into your data folder, get a silent .mp3 file (search is your friend) save over each of those 90 or so voice files (somewhat less if you just do the power attack sounds, or only with one race) with the silent.mp3. No more voice sounds... It isn't done for you because it's a complicated teadious process (since you have to include the bits of numbers and letters on the end), and as far as I know there isn't any application that allows fast renaming of files, or saving one file over several. On the plus side, this requires little to no skill once you have the tools.

There are certain programs you can use to command things like renaming files. All you need is the right inputs and it can turn the task into a reletively simple one. The Expansion Pack doens't include a "feautre" that allows you to push back enemies, and it only conflicts with mods that durastically change the game. But then again, if you are using those mods you aren't really playing oblivion, and why would the expansion for oblivion work for a different game?

Parkillous' posts removed. Spamming/flaming (removed other posts relating to him too). Parkillous, this is your final warning, quit breaking the rules. One more infringement and it's strike 1.

Also, moving this to the mod requests forum.
