DannyButterBuns
Hello Nexus Forums, I recently did a clean installed of Fallout 3 to build my hype of Fallout 4, and have played the game naked (vanilla) up until now. I recently tried my hand at modding again, and though the few mods I had initially installed worked perfectly, I have encountered a user error (so I believe). I use LOOT, NMM, as well as FOMM to help me with mod installation, and mod sorting, etc. While using LOOT to sort my mods in the proper order, I came across a difficulty. This plugin requires "EVE.esp" to be active, but it is inactive. While the report directly above it, clearly states that EVE.esp is active, and is working properly, as well as NMM finding EVE.esp, and adding it into the mod plugins. I have installed EVE 99, as well as the older EVE 97, in conjunction with one another, while also attempting to troubleshoot this by installing them one at a time. I've included a .jpg Specs: Windows Vista 32x (no hate, we're a dying race) GeForce 9800GT Intel Duo Core CPU E7200 2.53ghz
Purr4me
it's not an error despite what you see, that is just an entry, the real place to look and see if it loading in the users apps local fallout3 "plugin.txt" file. if it's there it's installed and you have nothing to worry about. DannyButterBuns
I have no idea what was wrong with it, but just restarting my computer fixed the error. I guess I overlooked the obvious, haha. But I'm troubled with a new problem. LOOT, as well as BOSS are both saying that my load order is in the proper sequence. However, when I run FOSE through NMM, the game begins to start up as normal, but my cursor doesn't appear, nor does the start menu either. starting task manager immediately crashes the game. I'm not too experienced with computers or coding though. I'm including a .jpg so someone can hopefully help me make sense of it, as well as helping me get the game running again. Cheers  Edited November 14, 2015 by DannyButterBuns
M48A5
According to the image you provided, you have 49 active plugins but only 4 are shown in the image. Without knowing your complete load order, help is impossible. Do not use LOOT to sort you load order. It does not place the files in the correct order. For Fallout 3, you should use B.O.S.S. http://boss-developers.github.io/ Don't pay attention to the people that say B.O.S.S. is old. So is Fallout 3. If you edit these files as directed, the programs functions see's the changes due to time stamp changes . if your smart, just ignore cleaning messages because you don't have the skill to do all of this. 2ndly, never clean a master DLC file..all mods are built from the raw data seen here...if you clean these DLC's, you breaks all the other mods that need that information to be there. downloading and using mods cleaned set's you up to fail. I'll go find a post I just made :http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3388005-looking-for-help/&do=findComment&comment=30374665 read that and let me know when your all done wit those instructions.
