emperorjoe Posted November 9, 2015 Share Posted November 9, 2015 (edited) hi, i'm getting crashes in whiterun. they happen randomly when walking during load screens and when talking to npc's. its not happening anywhere else so i think its just too much stuff in there but idk.if someone can help me figure out my problem or how to go about finding the mod thats causing the problem I use loot to sort my load order there are no errors . I have about 130 mods installed.I started a new game bc the first one I was adding and removing mods and had to make sure that was not the problem. if you see any mods that might be a problem or just add a large amount to the script that does very little that's not needed and should be removed pls let me know. update: got rid of the ai combai and daily life changes and fixes it stopped a lot of the ctds still got a few tho. only happens once in a while talking to npcs and load screens now.(only in whiterun still) Edited November 9, 2015 by emperorjoe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

edbgarcia Posted November 14, 2015 Share Posted November 14, 2015 The only one that could be suspect, is ESF Aela, have you notice if she is near you when you crash? Another one that could possibly impact you is Interesting NPCs, where maybe a script interfere with a game stock quest starter?I know, I am shooting blind, but from the provided the list these are the only ones in my experience that could remotely or possibly could cause and issue Hope this helps some Ed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Eyam3 Posted November 15, 2015 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Dropping from uGrids 7 back to uGrids 5 helped my Whiterun ctd rate a lot (haven't crashed for the past couple of days at all in fact, though fps still takes an occasional nose-dive around Whiterun).
